Do Not Approach Me

Whenever a celebrity walks along the corridors of public places, such as malls, expect heads to turn simply because a face might be familiar. On the one hand, celebrities often shun malls thinking that fans will hound them. On the other hand, celebrities go to malls because they simply want to be like ordinary people.

One day, Controversial Celebrity (CC) and her friends were spotted walking in a high-end mall. What attracted attention was not the immediate recognition of CC, but the way she carried herself. CC was fully covered with a jacket. She was obviously hiding her face, which was unusual for shopper in such a mall. Moreover, CC remained in the middle of her group and that was their setup as they made their way around. It took time for some people to recognize that the covered woman was CC.

What bothered the onlookers was why CC seemed to hide her identity. After all, she was in a mall, whereby most shoppers are those who can afford branded merchandise. In other words, most shoppers in the said mall would not bother with CC, as they would obviously not know her.

The few who recognized CC wondered if CC felt that fans would mob her, which was far from reality given the status of the stores in the mall. Besides, CC is not really among the major female actresses of her network, and these days, she’s hardly seen in projects. Therefore, even if she had walked around without wearing her disguise, most would not recognize her at all, and few would even dare approach her due to her reputation.

Unfortunately, things are not turning out well in her professional life. She has yet to be cast in a major teleserye project, and her last project was months ago. Her social media seems to be active, but any posting she uploads is always fair game for bashers.
