The costume itself is iconic, it might had some revisions done through the years but it still remains a two piece. I cant picture Darna in one piece or donning a less provocative costume just to adapt to Liza's image.

ReplyDeleteLiza accepted the role of Darna I presumed she is smart enough to know the demands required for the role. The costume itself is iconic, it might had some revisions done through the years but it still remains a two piece. I cant picture Darna in one piece or donning a less provocative costume just to adapt to Liza's image.
ReplyDeleteUmm you do realize past darna's have worn one pieces.....i.e. Sharon, Lorna, & regine. Liza herself even said she's fine w/wearing the iconic 2 piece, but direk matti has confirmed that the costume will be changed to adapt to a more modern era since the movie will depict a modern darna.

DeleteLiza will turn 20 in a couple of months, same age as Angel when she did Darna back in 2005. If Angel had no qualms with the costume and everything required for the role, I see no reason why Liza will be demanding and let the role adjust to her image. If that will be the case, better look for another Darna who can step up ro all the demands required.

Maybe she did exist for some but never saw her potential that she can eventually make it big someday. So for you to say that Enrique will be her downfall just does not make sense at all. Enrique was a BIG part on whatver success she has now, same goes for Enrique so bottomline both did benefit from the Team Up.
