2:49, ibig sabihin ni 12:51, yung mga batang born with cleft lip/palate bukod sa nabu-bully ng ibang tao, mismong sarili nila ayaw nila sa hitsura nila kaya puwedeng depressed, walang confidence at kinahihiya sarili...their heart breaks for themselves. ganern. madali lang naman intindihin.
Kaya nga sabi nya fortunate sya kasi nkpag pa opera sya. Kundi cleft lip p rin sya and bka hindi sya magka gf which really happens sa mga ganyang case kasi mhirap tlga dahil lagi nman itsura ang unang makikita to gain attraction and to look for someone.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Ali. In grade school, I had a classmate with cleft lip/palate and lagi syang binu bully and kung ano ano harot sa kanya. So I can imagine yung mga na-experience ni Ali.
My brother had an operation for cleft lip. Years after he still got teased by kids about his lip scar kahit di naman masyadong noticeable. People can be so mean.
Its very sad that we haven't matured in that area.
Dito sa Canada, we have Operation Smile. Ang dami na rin nitong natutulungan and very inspiring yung mga stories. Sa atin, we still have long way to go kasi yung mga may ganitong kapansanan madalas stigmatized and ginagawang katatawan. Its nice to see that Aly is putting a face to this advocacy.
Operation Smile is NOT just in Canada, anon 2:28. It spans across the different parts of the globe with HQ located in the US. Meron silang office sa Pilipinas at marami talaga itong natulungan sa buong mundo, NOT just in Canada.
When we moved here in US,I thought my son would have a hard time adjusting but surprisingly he told me he likes it here better coz nobody would tease him about his scar
Kaya kahit naaartehan ako kay KC I still respect her 'cos she actually does something for her advocacy and iilan lang din sila sa industriya. Karamihan ay napaka-superficial na, only doing charity works when they need to clean up or enhance their image & worst yung iba wala talaga, puro self-promotion lang.
Korek!
I support this! I like these celebrities na may puso. Sabi nga celebrities are media influencers. They move people to joining these causes. Mabuhay kayo!
If we want to change the way how people think about people with disabilities, then maybe we should teach ourselves, educate our neighbors, instill to our children how to respect others. Yun ang problem kasi mga bata mismo nang bubully because they are not aware.
This is a good charity/organization.

DeleteThat's the reason why this country is never blessed.

Delete5:50, 2:28 just did not know. You do not need to be so antagonistic and rude about it.
