Live in partner does not bear weight in court, atleast in the Philippines. You are not classified as a qualified dependent, you can't sign hospital waiver forms etc...
Hopefully this can be remedied, in some European countries, live ins are classified as partners and have legal rights for benefits. Sadly, the same is not true in our country.
