There is a proper time for making a joke. It was a Committee Hearing, not an episode of Eat Bulaga.
Tito Sotto has been a politician for so long, yet he has never matured in his ways as a public figure. Joke all you want, but it was clearly an insult to the Secretary.
9:59 We can now be sure that he learn his lesson well. What's the bitter all about this time? Never ka ba nagkamali sa buong buhay mo? Cause the way you judge someone, just because private kang tao/anonymous kang bumabash, makes for you to speak as if you never committed a mistake. Sasabihin mo palusot ang nobody's perfect, come to think of it, totoo naman talaga. AND WHAT IS IT THAT YOU GUYS WANT FROM THEIR FAMILY PA? You want to bash them until your last breath? For what? Can't we all just accept the apology and try to move on?
To 1:00, 9:59 never said anything na okay yung binabash yung family ni Tito Sotto ah. Stop implying things and misinterpreting the message. It was wrong of Tito Sotto to tell a joke which tends to undermine the plight of solo mothers. Ibang bagay yung pambabash ng mga tao sa pamilya nya dahil sa pagkakamali niya, and that is the wrong thing.
Tito Sotto could have avoided the insult if he only thought twice before opening his filthy mouth.
He has naman pala daughters who have separated from their husbands, akala mo sino siyang super malinis to insult the Secretary.
People are just abusing this 'nobody's perfect'. Pero dapat din maintindihan ng pamilya o sumusuporta ni tito sotto na hindi to unang beses na nambastos ang taong to. Hindi all the time gagawing excuse ang 'nobody's perfect'.
Whaaaat? It's a tactless joke to begin with
Yung apology na kung may nagawa akong mali sorry mas nakakainis kasi ibig sabihin nde mo alam kung ano yung ipinagsosorry mo yung tipong kung ano man yun sorry in general. So your father is not even sure kung anong mali so ATM saksak nya sa baga nya yung sorry nya, damage has already been done.
Maybe this young gentleman should just tell his dad when he apologizes, he should stop blaming the trolls or insists that people do not get his tasteless remarks.
"He is the best husband, father and grandfather" pero sa inyo lang yan.
Ofcourse you can tell us that your father is a good father and grand father to YOU! Look what he did , kapag hindi nya kaano ano nakakapag salita sya ng ganoon, ang the joke was a very bad one
A joke uncalled for, I'm a mom of 2, unmarried and I got pregnant at 22. I'm still together with the father of my kids pero somehow I fall along the radar of "na ano". I didn't get offended.. It was a joke blown out of proportion and really it's just time to move on na.
Bottomline: kasalanan ng mga botante. I blame the voters who doesn't vote wisely. Sotto and Pacquiao being elected as senators just proves Filipinos haven't mature yet on choosing who should lead them.
He could have apologised sincerely without blaming the public.
Ask your father to make a sincere apology to Secretary Taguiwalo. Teach your father the virtue of humility. Sabi nga, if you made a mistake, admit it and ask for forgiveness. It will not make him less of a person if he do that.
Yeah, nobody is perfect. Sana sa susunod careful na siya since public figure siya, or kahit ordinaryong tao ka.

You don't need to be perfect, just exhibit basic respect

DeleteHindi kasi nag iisip eh
ReplyDeleteMove on na kase.
ReplyDeleteMove on and vote for tito sotto again sa sunod na election! :)
DeleteHe has to learn his lesson the hard way.
ReplyDeleteI believe that a sincere apology FROM YOUR FATHER will do :)
ReplyDeleteTruths!
DeleteI agree 8:45PM
DeleteJust like the President. Kapag nagkamali, sabihin lagi joke.
DeleteYung sorry nya was like "sorry di nyo lang naintindihan yung joke ko"
DeleteDaming hanash. Whaaaat? It's a tactless joke to begin with
Or better yet, mag-Eat Bulaga na lang sya full time.
ReplyDeleteI cant even stand him in EB. Sobrang sabaw din mag host.
DeleteTell your father to APOLOGIZE SINCERELY to all the single parents he had hurt! Not defend him! Tell him what he did was wrong!
ReplyDeleteIt was meant as a joke, wrong timing Lang. He didn't mean to offend anyone.
ReplyDeleteYour dad learned the hard way. Humbling time niya din yan.
He didn't sound sorry. Kaloka to.
Pag nagkamali, nagkamali at mag sorry. Ganun lang kasimple.
