The wait is over. Kris Aquino has just revealed that she is indeed going back to her former home via a travel-themed special. The two-hour ‘Trip ni Kris’ will showcase everyday places and provinces, and present food, people, scenery, and other features that would make a place worth visiting. More importantly, the segments will bring out the special from things that are perceived to be ordinary in the location.
A couple of days ago, Aquino posted a teaser that she might be working on a project and that she was back to where she belongs. Naturally, her followers rejoiced because after many months of not being seen on TV, Aquino hinted that she would soon start work. Her later posts expressed how much she has missed work and her apprehension, as she will be with new people. More importantly, she acknowledged that the whole experience was humbling. Still, without giving away the network, the posts had hints, such as ‘…where I belong,’ and heart and rainbow emoticons, which are all related to GMA.
The two-hour special, ‘Trip ni Kris,’ will air on GMA after Kapuso Mo, Jessice Soho, on April 9.

DeleteWe will see if her ratings will be substantial. She tried that style already in abs-cbn and for a long time the ratings was mediocre. Abs-cbn was very patient with her to prolonged the show. She has to tone down her hosting style. Criticizing guests and always putting herself above everyone is not very welcoming and warm to some of the viewers. It's a big turn off to those people who can't take it. She has tons of followers but not enough to saved her dismal ratings in Abs-Cbn. Good luck to her though. Hopefully her fans will totally support her 100 percent this time.
DeleteNung una magaling but later on masyado nang self absorbed. Laging sinisingit istorya ng buhay nya, she interrupts her guests, pag di masyado sikat ang guest binabara pa. So I really don't think of her as a good host. 👎

DeleteI'm neutral towards Kris Aquino. I don't like her nor hate her. It's good that she's back to working on projects she likes to do. I think everyone aims for that. I just hope she has learned her lessons from the past.

Dati naghahanap ako ng mapapanood after KMJS, ngayon may papanoorin na ako kahit for a few Sundays lang. And hopefully, magtuloy-tuloy na and GMA gives her a morning talkshow na. Or an afternoon show. Para lang pambasag din sa mga sobrang kadramahan sa hapon. As in, nakakapagod din na puro teledrama sa hapon. After EB, pinapatay ko na lang tv. Wala rin naman kasi magandang gano palabas sa cablr sa oras na yun

DeleteShe's under APT for her projects - running across all spans of media. She doesn't have no tv contract just as yet, though it's very likely that she will be seen more in Channel 7 since APT is associated with the network. Later on, she'll be a block-timer for one of TAPE-produced shows to be aired right before Eat Bulaga. She just can't seem to go back to ABSCBN as there are things needed to be fixed and so much complications she had brought the network and its staff assigned to work with her in her program.

ReplyDeleteMabuti naman bumalik siya sa ABS CBN magaling mag host si Kris Aquino pareho sila ni Boy Abunda napaka intelehente nila the way na magsalita at magdeliver ng mga lines nila magaling talaga sila. Di katulad ng iba diyan pinipilit nila maghost walang kakuwenta kuwenta I'm talking about yung tatlong babae duon sa MB.
