5:41 AM..I agree wd u, it was GMA who first thought of reviving Darna and gave Angel the role that rocketed her career to stardom, I certainly hope Angel does not forget this and the poeple who fought for her to play the role.

100% agree Pokwang! My children grew up with Angel as Darna while they were still in the Phil. And now they are in their 20s here in America they till remember her. For them Angel is Darna.
It will always be Vilma Santos for me, she made 4 box office Darna movies, remember that it was not Vilma who first played the role but it was only when she played it that people took notice and Darna became a part of Pinoy pop culture. Vilma Santos breathe life to Darna.
