Reputation and integrity are still the top traits that one values to last long in any field. Once loss of confidence is thrown at a person, he/she would have a hard time convincing people of his/her integrity. In the local entertainment industry, the qualities attached to the image of personalities are important. For instance, when a talent has a secret that her management team has kept under wraps, the talent has to live through the lie until the time the truth can no longer be stopped from emerging. Many actors have gone through similar experiences, such as denying the existence of a biological child and pretending about one’s true age.

In the case of Hardworking Personality (HP), reputation and keeping the family name pristine caused her to worry when Overwhelming Celebrity (OC) was becoming uncontrollable with her reactions. Fearing that OC might dragged her out into the lion’s den of bashers and angry fans, HP had to seek assistance from a Powerful Insider (PI) to make sure that OC zips her mouth. HP loves her status, which allows her to do her passion by serving others. Thus, any scandal might hurt her name as well as the reputation she is quietly building away from the glitz and glamor of the business.

The question of why HP is worried that OC might talk stems from her alleged involvement with Good-looking Talent (GT). According to the grapevine, GT is the secret squeeze of HP and they were rumored to have been caught in intriguing situations. Their liaisons are clandestine because GT is not single and is committed to OC. Nonetheless, OC allegedly found out about the trysts, and the betrayal was too much to bear. As clichés abound on post breakup reactions of hurt women, HP feared that OC might just spew hints of her secret relationship with GT. To avert the worsening of the situation, PI communicated with his more powerful contacts, who assured him of damage control. Besides, OC has an image to protect as well, and her comments might invite negative reactions from netizens. With talks left and right with the higher ups, OC was pacified. Finally, the issue is dead and all parties could move on.
