Money has nothing to do with the decision of actress Erich Gonzales and model-actor Daniel Matsunaga to end their two-year relationship, the former couple's management Star Magic said in a statement on Thursday.
Star Magic released a statement to ABS-CBN News confirming that Gonzalez and Matsunaga have met to discuss the issues involving their split.
The two also asked the public to give them a chance to patch things up privately.
Here's the statement of Star Magic, unedited: "Nagharap kahapon sina Erich Gonzales at Daniel Matsunaga sa Star Magic office para pagusapan ang mga issues na may kinalaman sa kanilang hiwalayan. Naging maayos ang usapan nilang dalawa. Walang kinalaman ang pera o third party sa kanilang paghihiwalay. Pakiusap nina Erich at Daniel na huwag idamay ang kanilang pamilya sa issue. Hiling rin ng dalawa ang pag-unawa at pagkakataong maayos ng pribado ang kanilang relasyon. Maraming salamat po."
Exactly a week ago, Gonzales opened up about her breakup with Matsunaga. She stressed that there was no third party involved but did not confirm nor deny speculations that finances had something to do with their split.
This prompted Matsunaga's sister Vanessa to ask her to clarify rumors about money problems between the two.
In an earlier statement sent to ABS-CBN News reporter Marie Lozano, Gonzales said: “Hindi ako mayaman, Vanessa. Tama ka; mahirap lang ako, hindi ako kasing yaman ng napangasawa mo. Pero sa mundong ito, ang realidad, hindi lang mayayaman ang nate-take advantage. Mas maraming mahirap ang napapagsamantalahan.”
Are they as a loveteam under a contract? I don't see why this needs to be published even.

DeleteI think Erich became nega because she didn't know how to handle her heartbreak. If you watch Erich's previous interviews, she really is a hopeless romantic. She thought her ex before Daniel was the one. Then Daniel came along and she said on kristv that he;s the one. Maybe when she loves she gives it all. Kaya when Daniel and her broke up she was an emotional wreck and said things which I'm sure she didn't mean. Lahat ng nasawi sa pag-ibig nagdadaan dyan. We say things we don't mean kasi wasak sa pagibig. LOL!

ReplyDeleteInayos nila, albeit with management's assistance, ang gusot sa kanilang dalawa na naapektuhan din ang mga taong malapit sa kanila. Mga artista sila, hence nasa mata sila ng publiko. Maski yung mga malapit sa kanila may high possibility na madamay pag may mga issues tulad ng ganito. Kalakip na ng pagiging artista ang circumstance na yan dahil may iba na hindi maka-draw ng line between ano o sino ang fair game and ang dapat na off limit. Mag-aaway tapos magbabati ay magiging public. Sala sa init at sala rin sa lamig. Ano ba naman tayo di ba? Okay na sila, sana maging okay na rin tayo. Tayo na nga lang itong nakiki-chismis (^_^)
