Maxine is a very very sweet girl. I used to bash her because I really liked Kylie to be the bb universe back then, but then that video where she was following miss venezuela and she was asked supposedly to do an interview , she just gave the interview a sign na ' sayang .. papasok na kami ' sign and with that, she caught . Very simple gesture but then I never realized how consistently sweet she is . She's lovely, queenly, classy . Love her.

I feel like shy and reserved kasi siya na girl. Parang hindi siya ganun ka confident like Pia kaya inuunahan sa kaba. Para sakin overrated siya na nakasama sa top 6. Though she's really pretty pero walang dating nung pageant.
Hindi pa din sya connected, she's not aware what's happening around. May sarili syang mundo. Sometimes it's good to listen to people around you so you will know what to Improve on yourself, take those as constructive criticism.

Pansin ko okay naman mga captions niya sa instagram. Okay naman English niya kahit may mga grammatical errors, unlike when speaking na waley talaga siya sense. Baka mahina lang talaga siya sa speaking? Baka natataranta. May mga taong mas okay sa written di ba pero mahina sa public speaking.
I admit I was one of those who was critical of her in the beginning kase hindi nga talaga impressive communication skills nya but when the bashing -- bashing na, hindi na criticism ha -- got out of hand (people calling her dumb, walang depth, and parang sinisi pa sya kase siya yung nanalong Miss Phils like it's her fault she won etc), I felt bad for her. Nkaka-dampen naman talaga ng spirits. It helped that she had a good attitude about it and didn't respond negatively (ahem, Imelda Schw..) and it was obvious that she did her best in her areas of strength..she did well in her presentations and got to Top 6! Kaya kudos to pa din to her! As long as she has a good attitude, takes all the criticism on board and use it improve herself and her weaknesses, then good on her! Yes, mataas expectations sa kanya pero malay ba natin kung yun na nga yung best nya at this time..what else can we do? Yung iba kase parang kulang na lang gusto ipag-force resignation itong si Maxine. Hindi sya naging arrogant in spite of all the criticism kaya congrats pa rin sa kanya!
Nung una may nasasabi ako sayo sa loob ko pero nun nakikita ko na binibigay mo yung lahat ng makakaya mo unti unti kitang minahal. Kahit natalo man tayo proud paren ako, kami na nagmamahal sayo. i'm not really proud of what she did during the q&a. medyo stubborn siya. di nakikinig. she feels so intelligent. kakadismaya! ano lang ba yun gumamit ng interpreter. eh sa di siya marunong sa grammar and logic.
She gave her best but her best wasn't as good enough, though at the end, she delivered what was expected of her KNOWING WHAT HER LIMITATIONS ARE...I'd like to believe that most people expects her to be in ending her battle at TOP 6. Suntok sa buwan yung maka final 3 given her communication and thoughts organizing skills. Unfortunately though, with all due respect to her, she did not pay attention to her handicap.. which is yung Q&A. she had 7 mos to be trained and improve on it.. and even in the last minute of her road for to the MissU competition, she was still in DENIAL and as psycho analyzed, she was still ma PRIDE. People clamored for her to use an interpreter, NOT because she doesn't understand english, more so, not just because she doesn't speak english that well (that is forgivable). It is for the reason that a lot of people were hoping na pag interpreter sya e mas maoorganize nya ng maayos yung thoughts niya and even more, maeeexpress nya yung gusto niya sabihin in a language that she is very comfortable with.. and yet, medyo nagmaganda si atcheng and nagmapilit na sumagot ng ENGLISH,, ending,,, sagot na confidently beautiful pero walang sense.. (just like with most of her previous interviews and presscons)
