Bothersome Motion

After being in the entertainment industry for a number of years with hits and misses of projects, The Camp (TC) of Network Talent (NT) decided to revisit connections in the network, which resulted from discomfort in her present project. Feeling that the role of NT in a big project no longer matches her status, TC approached Influential Insider (II) to air her complaint.

Confidently, TC talked to II and specifically mentioned that NT was just playing a minor role in her project. In other words, unlike her previous project, this time, NT was overshadowed by the older leads. Her visibility was less, as the plot does not really revolve around her character. This situation did not sit well for TC, as NT already proved her worth in a project.

The favorable response of II was expected by TC, as they are close friends. TC thought that II would at least say that they could give a second look at the development and perhaps, expand the role of NT. This was not the case, however. II gave a response that silenced TC and made her realize that the success of a latest project is not a guarantee that one will eventually be consistent in the ratings and endorsement game.

Allegedly, II reminded TC that the network had already given much to NT in terms of breaks. However, NT could not deliver, except for the project that TC has been using as leverage. It might be just a one hit wonder, and II told TC that competition was not as stiff when the project was screened. Besides, NT was a second choice and higher management even wanted her to freeze her career. The bottom line is for TC and NT to be satisfied given that NT has a project. There are no small roles, only small actors. After hearing II, TC could no longer bring up her second point. TC wanted the former partner of NT to join her instead of the Other One (OO). Unfortunately, NT might stick it out with OO.
