It's probably because most people are realist. True... it's not their life... but they do find it disappointing.... especially because she's just gaining upward momentum in her career. I keep hearing positive comments from people here, about her acting, in her current show.
Marriage life can wait. Babies can wait. A good career... once in a blue moon. I think people would be more positive about it if the father of the child was well off. But... I've read a lot of comments saying that the father of the kid doesn't have a job; that they will be depending on Kylie's dad.

I don't really watch Filipino shows but I've seen this Kylie, every now and then, bec. my mom would watch Filipino Dramas (from all channels). Hasn't she been an actress for a while now? Sounds like she's just gaining good showbiz momentum. It's sad that with her career moving upwards... it's now halted. She's taking a huge risk which will impact her career, widely. Though having a baby is a blessing... an unplanned one is both a blessing and a halting moment.
while I agree that those celebrities mentioned by 1:21 ( nothing against your comment tho) had babies after getting married, I am not fully convinced that extra marital sex wasn't being practiced by them. Henced, they all did it, the only difference was those female luckily or knowingly didn't get pregnant the way Kylie is right now. Malamang may knowledge sila how to prevent this from happening. Nevertheless, I sincerely hope Kylie and Aljur will last their relationship!
@1:21 P.M. I actually didn't mean Kylie did it wrong by getting pregnant before marriage. I think people should always aim for marriage, before children... but things happen and at least both parties are willing to take the responsibility.
What I meant by Toni G. doing it the right way... is that... she sponged her career well before settling down. She had a love life but she allowed it to take the backseat until she could fully say that she took in all the blessings that were coming her way.
Fame, career, showbiz breaks, etc. are very hard to come by. On the other hand... love life, forming a family... they can always wait... especially if the guy really loves her.

I was watching the video and i can't help but smile all throught out the interview. She's a small ball of positivity.
She handled the pregnancy news well and it's good that her bf and dad are very supportive.
It's one side of Kylie that i find refreshing and she's not afraid to take responsibility and she's very excited to be a mother. Which i think is better than judging her as someone irresponsible because she got pregnant before marriage.
What is important now, is that, she is willing to move forward, keep the baby, and just be the best mother-to-be.

DeleteIt's probably because most people are realist. True... it's not their life... but they do find it disappointing.... especially because she's just gaining upward momentum in her career. I keep hearing positive comments from people here, about her acting, in her current show.
DeleteMarriage life can wait. Babies can wait. A good career... once in a blue moon. I think people would be more positive about it if the father of the child was well off. But... I've read a lot of comments saying that the father of the kid doesn't have a job; that they will be depending on Kylie's dad.

ReplyDeleteI don't really watch Filipino shows but I've seen this Kylie, every now and then, bec. my mom would watch Filipino Dramas (from all channels). Hasn't she been an actress for a while now? Sounds like she's just gaining good showbiz momentum. It's sad that with her career moving upwards... it's now halted. She's taking a huge risk which will impact her career, widely. Though having a baby is a blessing... an unplanned one is both a blessing and a halting moment.

Deletewhile I agree that those celebrities mentioned by 1:21 ( nothing against your comment tho) had babies after getting married, I am not fully convinced that extra marital sex wasn't being practiced by them. Henced, they all did it, the only difference was those female luckily or knowingly didn't get pregnant the way Kylie is right now. Malamang may knowledge sila how to prevent this from happening. Nevertheless, I sincerely hope Kylie and Aljur will last their relationship!
Delete@1:21 P.M. I actually didn't mean Kylie did it wrong by getting pregnant before marriage. I think people should always aim for marriage, before children... but things happen and at least both parties are willing to take the responsibility.
DeleteWhat I meant by Toni G. doing it the right way... is that... she sponged her career well before settling down. She had a love life but she allowed it to take the backseat until she could fully say that she took in all the blessings that were coming her way.
Fame, career, showbiz breaks, etc. are very hard to come by. On the other hand... love life, forming a family... they can always wait... especially if the guy really loves her.
Kaya pala bigla silang very open and vocal sa ig na sila na. Na buntis pala.

ReplyDeleteShe handled the pregnancy news well and it's good that her bf and dad are very supportive.
It's one side of Kylie that i find refreshing and she's not afraid to take responsibility and she's very excited to be a mother. Which i think is better than judging her as someone irresponsible because she got pregnant before marriage.
What is important now, is that, she is willing to move forward, keep the baby, and just be the best mother-to-be.
Ang positive ni Kylie, nakakatuwa. Kaya sana tumigil na si Aljur sa mga kuda nya against GMA, Enca team and Vidanes Celebrity Marketing. Lahat ng mga yan has shown nothing but support and understanding kay Kylie at sa situation nya. Kaya kaunting himility naman sana, Aljur. Baka madamay pa si Kylie sa kanegahan nitong si Aljur. Babalik pa yang si Kylie after the pregnancy. She needs to work, and so do you. Sana alalahanin din ni Aljur yun at hind yung panay defend lang sa sarili dahil sya itong nababash.
