Hindi siguro magaling yun teacher nya nung grade 1. I will never forget yun lesson namin, it's always I before E except after C. My teacher made the class recite that over and over again, it stuck with me.
Most Americans, again most and noy all, doesn not know the correct apelling of the words they speak. I've been an OFW for quite a while and I worked with lots of them. Most of them are also grammatically incorrect. Hindi sila gaanong kaparticular sa spelling at grammar na tulad ng mga Pinoy na napakaraming grammar nazis. Madalas na mali sa kanila, their, they're, there at yang nga ganyan na napagpapalit ang ie at ei.
May joke di ba na kung anong lahi ang isang language lang ang alam na ang sagot ay mga Amerikano.
True AnonymousDecember 28, 2016 at 8:24 PM. Bobo ang Americans sa spelling, grammar and even when to put the comma and period. Magaling lang sila sa spoken English but bagsak sa written English. I remember a VP candidate Dan Quayle who lost bid the VPresidency because he cannot spell potato correctly.
5:45 pag ang word mas mauuna ang l, use i after, example reliever, belied. Pag ang word mas mauuna ang c, use e after, example deceive, perceive, receive
1:28 Hindi magiging bilyonaryo yan kung hindi yan magaling gets mo? Kahit mali mali pa ng spelling o grammar yan hindi big deal as long as magawa nya ng tama ang trabaho nya. Kaloka wag mo dalin sa US yan asal natin mga pinoy na tingin sa kapwa bobo porket di magaling mag english o mali ang spelling. Ikaw tama mga spelling at grammar mo diba? Bilyonaryo ka ba like him?

Korek ka dyan! Mga pinoy grammar nazi pa. Sobrang pag tatawanan ka pa pag mali ang grammar mo as if english ang native tongue natin kaloka. Ayan si Trump mali ang spelling pero tama ka bilyonaryo at magaling pa mag negosyo!
9:50PM, english ang language sa schools from nursery to college sa Pinas. Tagalog and English. Sa 20 years ng school life plus post-grad courses, wrong grammar pa rin?
1:29 eh kung mga amerikano nga di perfect ang grammar and to think lenguahe na nila ang english so anong ineexpect mo sa mga pinoy na hindi naman lahat eh maayos ang turo sa school lalo na pag public.
I have been living here in Canada for 20 years. It is a fact that most Americans are not good at spelling. They can be smart and intelligent, educated, with College degree but they don't give much importance to correct spelling. Mas magaling pa ang mga Pinoy.
Tax shelter ang mga donations to charity kaya nagbibigay si trump but the irony there is that, the foundation that he's donating to is their own foundation!
Hindi siguro magaling yun teacher nya nung grade 1. I will never forget yun lesson namin, it's always I before E except after C. My teacher made the class recite that over and over again, it stuck with me.

DeleteSyempre meron words na exception. Tinuro din sa amin yun. Kung absent or tulog sa klase malamang conceirge spelling nya.

DeleteFor god's sake Trump is a self made man. A billionaire. Excellence in spelling will not amount you into anything. Hardwork does.
ReplyDeleteGod. Capital G. Respect.
