I agree to disgree. They may lost their ussual market but they also gained a new market which are people who's been waiting to see a worthy pinoy movies aka millenials, yuppies, a-c crowd or simpy movie enthusiast. :)

I like this year's line up, tbh. Sana maging open minded tayong lahat and give all of these films a chance. The mainstream films will alaways be available to watch any time of the year.

Good evening. Thank you for that wonderful question. I will definitely watch all of the mmff movies. As a fellow Filipino, it is my duty and honor to support the indie movies in a major major way. We were colonized by the mainstream movies as part of our culture and traditions but we're very welcoming with indie movies. And I dont see any problem with that at all. I will use my money to buy all tickets to influence the youth and I would raise awareness to causes like whatever causes that is timely and relevant to my country. I want to show the world, the universe rather, or multi verse or any parallel universe, that I am confidently beautiful with a lot of money. Thank you.
At first I thought medyo out of place yung VKJ sa lineup na ito, but I realized, pambalance siya sa seriousness ng themes ng contemporaries nya. :) So I think okay na rin, though last siya sa list kung irrank ko ang mga to. Number 1 is Die Beautiful. Sure ako hakot awards ang DB
I don't think I'll be watching one of this, why? I tried to watch an indie film ( honor thy father) I only love the fact that John Lloyd is a good actor but the cinematography the picture were not clean, I felt bored..
Di ko pa alam pero in fairness, the posters are avant garde. Ang gaganda. With one or two exceptions, artsy karamihan and mukhang pinagisipan. Congrats to all!
All the films except VKJ. That one is your usual run-of-the-mill romcom that will barely challenge my intellectual capacity. I find the lead actress icky at best.
