Barbie has won a Cinemalaya and an Urian Best Supporting Actress awards under her belt for Mariquina and dun ko siya na appreciate, may ibubuga pala sa acting. She was also great in Tuos and held her own against Nora Aunor. Mas nagfu flourish siya as an actress outside her network. Sana mabigyan siya ng projects ng GMA that would showcase her range as an actor.
