    2. Ang bibitter nyo. Di ako fan ni Robin and his past but he deserves this more than the ex president's who were franted by previous administrations. Nakulong si Robin and was never given house arrest.

    3. Pero wala pa din US visa. Sorry.

    4. Nahiya nga mga senior citizens and very sick na prisoners kay Robin. May instant Absolute Pardon siya while sila, nasa loob pa rin. Not sure if they are given medical care and assistance pa nga.

    5. So these are your president's priorities and accomplishments. Tsk tsk

They have to prove their worthiness sa lobb para mabigyan ng pardon.

PARDON is an act of grace of the President which exempts the
individual on whom it is bestowed from punishment which the law inflicts on the crime committed.

It can be granted at any time after final judgment of
conviction without any condition (ABSOLUTE PARDON) or subject to some requirements or qualifications as the President may see fit such as:

that the grantee shall not again violate any of the penal laws, shall make periodic reporting or shall not change residence without prior permission from the Board or shall conduct himself in an orderly manner (CONDITIONAL PARDON).

To be effective, the grantee must accept the conditions.

    7. I think robin deserves it. Mapag kawanggawa sya at naging mabuting mamamayan.

Hello naman hindi sya nakapatay ng tao. Illegal posession of firearms.

    1. Mawawala na criminal records? Not sure

    2. When one is granted absolute pardon, that person's political and civil rights are FULLY restored. This includes the right to vote and the right to hold any appointive or elective gov't position. Erap, for instance, was granted absolute pardon. His disqualification to run for an elective position in the gov't was lifted, thereby allowing him to run for presidency, in the election immediately following such grant. Conviction of a crime presupposes absolute pardon. Hence, only those who are convicted of a crime can be given such presidential grant. :)

      Delete
    3. Ma'am, mali po kayo. The grant of absolute pardon cleanses his criminal record. :) Para po syang born again ma'am. Maaari na po sya mabigyan ng Visa for that matter. :)

      Delete
    4. Anon 12:58. US Visa/Greencard is just a privelege. Not a right. So dahil alam pa rin ng US Consulate yung past niya. I doubt they'll give him US Visa.

      Delete
    5. Hindi mawawala ying record, but he gets to exercise his full rights as a citizen of the country.

      Delete
    6. 12:58 as in guaranteed na ang visa?

      Delete
    7. 12:54 is accurate..12:58 it MIGHT help him to get a visa but no guarantees, its still the embassy to decide..

      Delete
    8. Daghang salamat classmates.

      Delete

      Delete
  4. Alam na this. Kaya todo suporta si binoy kay digong. Lahat ng yun e may kapalit. Tskkk.

  5. Eto na! Malapit na matapos ang visaserye mga bes!

    ReplyDelete

  9. Wow nakaka shock.. charot

  10. Why not? Matino na si robin mula ng makalaya. Give him a chance. Mamamayan din sya at nagbabayad ng tax.

    ReplyDelete
  15. ano bang kaso ni binoy? Illegal possession of firearms? Mahirap yan ipaliwanag sa US embassy dahil very strict sila kahit na may pardon pa ng president. Good luck!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Exactly. Kahit mabura lahat ng kaso niya. It still happened. US Visa/ Greencard is just a PRIVILEGE.Not a Right.

      Delete

      Delete
  16. no comment.

They have the biggest trades in the world. Check your facts. Lol.

      Delete
    3. 2:32 - walk the talk! Tama naman si 1:29, may friction ang US at China due to geo politics. Gustong angkinin ng China ang buong WPS which means maapektuhan trade routes ng US kaya nga opposed sila sa 9-dash-line ng China eh.

    4. hello?!?!?!?!

  23. Absolute Pardon does not erase the crime committed by Robin Padilla. While it restores his civil & political right, he's still not eligible for tourist visa bec of his past conviction.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Maski bigyan pa siya ng pardon ni Digon, that does not necessarily mean na US will grant him a visa na. So parang endorsed siya ni Dugong na inaway away lang naman ang US and tinawag na bakla ang US ambassador. Baka nga lalo pa siyang di mabigyan ng visa..... hahaha

    1. bakit matino US ambassador ba si Goldberg? eh sinipa nga yan sa Bolovia at dito tinapon ng US.

    ReplyDelete
  27. There are very old prisoners who deserve pardon more than this guy.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  29. 12:58 am, Fyi ikaw ang mali. It does not cleanse his criminal records. "Absolute Pardon" refers to the total extinction of the criminal liability of the individual to whom it is granted without any condition. It restores to the individual his civil and political rights and remits the penalty imposed for the particular offense of which he was convicted.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Tanong mga baks. How come Robin was traveling na internationally (the past few years) and was applying for the US visa na he was not supposed to be issued a Philippine passport pala? How did he get hold of a passport na sabi sa news he can now travel again and be issued a Philippine passport? His pardon by Pres. Ramos did not include the right to travel and be issued a passport accdg to the news that I read.

    ReplyDelete

    1. US as a whole and specifically the embassy has a lot of reservations with digong, so not a nice move to actually have him help in securing visa
