She served her country with wisdom, honor, conviction and dignity, even when she took the unpopular opinion. With the kind of leaders our country has recently elected into office, from the top to the bottom positions, it will be a long time before we see another intelligent, funny, and honorable person like her in government. She is truly inimitable and will be sorely missed. Rest in peace now, Madam.
Our senate is hopeless, so with our country. Few are those who are willing to serve our country, they are overpowered by those with the machinery and money, willing to make them work for their own personal motives.
My exact sentiment...
The Senate is so different without you. May you Rest In Peace.
Believe me, It would have doNE her more harm to be in the Senate with those monkeys in there right now. Kay Pacquiao palang baka high blood pa ikinamatay nya. Knowing the way Miriam was. Haha
She was not the perfect politician but I have always admired her willingness to serve the country. Her public service record is undeniable. One of the greatest senators we ever had and she would have been a great president too had cancer not taken over her body. May you rest in peace, Sen. Miriam.
After ng brown out dun ako unang namulat ukol sa corruption.
our condolences, deepest sympathy&prayers to the bereaved family of Sen.Miriam..rest in peace Madam in the arms of our Lord..we lost a very good senator in you.
Her memory is a huge reminder why our country is the way it is now. Filipinos fail the Philippines over and over and over. We deserve what we now have, sadly, the future generation will have to pay for it.
You were my president. Madam paalam na po. I remember my mom use to tell me stories about your life in Ilo-Ilo. How you've manage to start your life from scratches. I hope Philippines become better even without you.
With the grace and mercy of our loving God, Sen. Miriam will be happy in Heaven.
Thank you for the service, for the gems of wisdom, and humor. Thank you for the always giving the best graduation addresses. And lastly, for the two last books you left us to help us laugh during trying situations. RIP Madam. May the Almighty bless and give Philippines another Miriam.
Im really saddened by her passing. She was the best president our country could have had. I never regret that i gave my vote to her. Sen. Miriam, you made your legacy. We will always remember you. kt
that's life, we can't do anything about it,lhat tayo pupunta jan...khit d ntin nkilala ng personal c madam miriam, minahal at hinangaan ng marami dhil s kanyang katalinuhan, matapat, matapang, at makabayan. masakit sa loob nmin na nawala na xa, pero mas masakit sa pamilya nya. condolence po sa mga naulila ni madam at salamat sa panginoon at hindi xa nghirap, parang natulog lng. malaki kang kawalan sa bansa madam! ipinagddasal ko p mandin na xa ang magiging justice secretary ni digong pra mgtulungan cla ng pres...sana madam, patuloy mo kming subaybayan khit nasa langit k na, pls!!!
I voted for you MDS even though I know you're having a hard time already. You could have been the best president, but destiny has other plans, you will be at a happier and more peaceful place.
With all the events that are happening in the Philippines since Duterte took office, I was wondering why we never heard from you, yon pala you are fighting your own personal battle. Rest in peace now Senator Miriam. I truly admire and love you.
Everytime she speaks waaaa goosebumps! Sharp and witty lady, what a great loss! The BEST president we never had, bar none. Rest in eternal peace, madame!
Your legacy as public servant will forever be etched in our hearts and minds.
No other senator one can ever replace her bravery, courage, determination, credibility and intelligence. Now that she's gone, we don't have anyone challenging the likes of Pacquiao or any other "novice" and "inexeperienced" senator for that matter. May you rest in peace "Madam President" #Salute #MyPresident
Never have I cried over the death of a politician. But she's a hero to me, from childhood and until now. Am sure am not the only one who feels this way. She was indeed dazzling in her brilliance, watching her demonstrate how her brain works is captivating to say the least. She was THE MDS even before the public was exposed to her acerbic humor. I will miss her expertise in politics and the law, I will miss her mastery of argument, I will miss her mightily striving to always excel. Never have we seen so much passion traverse across the 3 branches of the PH government, and tbh, I don't think such can happen again in the next few lifetimes. She is one of a kind, beautiful heart of service, and a truly truly, beautiful mind.
thanks u sen miriam. rip po. sana naman maimplement na smoking ban sa bansa. i know di cause ng pnonigarilyo ang sakit ni sen mirriam. pero juscolored dami naninigarilyo sa pinas. kaya sana tigil nyo pagyosi hithitin nyo na lang tambucho ng mga jeep before its too late
