The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) said Sunday that it is validating a list of showbiz personalities allegedly involved in illegal drugs.
Chief Superintendent Oscar Albayalde, NCRPO director, said the names on the list are based on information from arrested drug suspects.
Albayalde said all of the names on the list were still subject for validation.
He added that the release of the names would depend on the decision of either President Rodrigo Duterte or Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Ronald dela Rosa.
Meanwhile, Albayalde said several celebrities have already submitted urine samples and underwent voluntary drug tests.
He urged media networks to coordinate with the PNP in conducting drug tests for their employees and artists pursuant to the Duterte administration's campaign against illegal drugs.
The District Anti-Illegal Drugs Division of the Southern Police District said in an earlier report that radio disc jockey Karen Bordador and her boyfriend, suspected drug pusher Emilio Lim, submitted a list of their clients which includes actors, singers, and models. —Joseph Tristan Roxas/ALG, GMA News
ReplyDeleteExactly. Bakit voluntary? Ang drug test should be unannounced and yung Tao should be accompanied by an authorized tech or doctor habang kumukuha ng urine sample coz may mga nandadaya sa sinu-submit na urine or di muna gumamit for a certain period
DeleteQuestionable kasi pag mismong management nagpadrug test or sila lang nagpadrug test.
Baduy mo
Delete"Random" drug testing dapat para no prior preparation sila.
DeleteI am not sure if you're actually thinking but even in the U.S. drug testing is required for employment.
DeleteWhen celebrities and athletes start taking drugs, they lose their endorsements and eventually lose their jobs.
You are such a pathetic loser.
DeleteYour reasoning is out of this world!
For sure special treatment yan from the government. No doubt. As for the networks, don't hold your breath, because they don't really penalize their talents' bad behavior, instead they cover them up.
President an tagal nmn ng celebrity edition.. Ano to selective lng? Ngaun me voluntary pang nlalaman, npakadali pikein non.. kwento mo sa pagong!
