We have been swooning over Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Beyonce and J-Z, and Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston’s romances — couple goals anyone?

But in case you want to check in what the other side of the world has to offer when it comes to celebrity couples, these three pairs can pretty much prove that they too can make anyone swoon!

After seeing #Aldub trend on Twitter for several times now, this roused our curiosity to find out what Asian TV couples have to offer.

We are so impressed that we believe they deserve to be given a Hollywood break. Their achievements and followers can trump some of our very own TV couples, in fact!

This couple, consists of young actor Alden Richards and newbie actress Maine Mendoza, was accidentally paired up via split screen last year in the Philippines’ so-called longest running noontime show “Eat Bulaga!” Their chemistry sparked even when they have not seen each other physically, to which fans believed was a  true chemistry.

A year after they were teamed up, the two is now one of the country’s top endorsers. They pair just also had their first movie together “Imagine You & Me” which was a blockbuster hit. The movie is set to be screened Australia, Canada, and Switzerland.

Staff from FOMO Daily even mentioned the pair to be likable and has the more chemistry compared to other love teams.

Jadine

Another prominent network in the Philippines is ABS-CBN. The said network is also gunning for their front running love team consists of James Reid and Nadine Lustre.

The two was first paired up in a couple of movies before they hit the television screen with “On The Wings of Love.” Early this year, James Reid and Nadine Lustre confirmed their romance on their very own love-themed concert. They also have several concert tours staged all over the world, including one int the United States.

There are reports that they will soon go back to TV with a show.

Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo

Who would not know about the hit Korean television series “Descendants of the Sun,” a drama which aired in KBS from February to April this year. Rumors have it that its lead cast Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo, are developing real-life romance outside the reel.

Song Hye Kyo and Song Joong Ki will come back for the “Descendants of the Sun” season 2 as reportedly confirmed by the KBS. The next series will have its release date next year.

This also catapulted the couple to land numerous magazine covers, interviews, and endorsement deals while being trending topics even after the “Descendants of the Sun” aired its final episode.

The two have been dubbed the most powerful endorsers in Korea.

“Even months after the drama ended, it is still a trending topic online and fans are going gaga over the Songs,” a report from Asia Times said.

Aside from Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza, Nadine Lustre and James Reid, and Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo, other popular love teams in Asia include Taiwan’s Jerry Yan and Barbie Hsu who rose to fame for their “Meteor Garden” show, Cheon Song Yi and Do Min Joon of “My Love From Another Star,” and Go Eun Chan and Choi Han Kyul of “Coffee Prince.” With such a huge following in their respective countries, we think they’ll do well in Hollywood!
