    1. Mas better? Hahaha. Yep, go read your books.

    2. The book is ususally better than the film version because you need to sacrifice/condense some scenes when put on film due to time constraints but not when a play/musical is done into a movie. Pwede sila gawing scene by scene.

    3. i respect your opinion na better yung book basta willing kang abutin ng 2 weeks para matapos yung book. pero kung hindi mo talaga yan ginagawa, nakakatawa na mema ka lang.

  3. Wow!! Aabangan ko eto. Mabuti naman at ipapalabas eto para maging aware yung mga younger generations about lea's achievements & how she helped the phils become renowned internationally for having world class talents, at hindi yung pagkaka alam nila about lea ay base lang sa twitter. Up to now, wala pa ring artista sa pinas ang naka achieve ng nakamit na ni lea.

  5. i was able to watch this noong high school ako, it was ima castro who played kim (lea was on a different sched). sobrang memorable yun experience because nakaka-amaze tlga yung production, yung appearance ng helicopter ang highlight for me.

  7. Ang pangit pala ng Kim ngayon. Monkey-ish ang itchura. Pero oo na maganda na ang boses. Na-disappoint Lang ako sa itchura.

    2. napakababaw mong tao. looks is something given by God, and you're being rude. you judge a person by hi/her looks? i have never encountered such a crass and shallow attitude as yours.

  8. Woohoo! In fairness to RAG, her Gigi earned Cameron's attention that the roles of Ellen and John went missing on the trailer! How about this for a movie debut?

    2. Pilit mo talagang ibida yang mga laos na singer na yan dito, kalingking lang sila sa nakamit ni Rachelle internationally, hwag na umasa bes, pang ASAPerya lang mga talent nila. Huwag nega

  9. Saw Miss Saigon on Broadway with Lea Salonga, & two years later in Toronto with Maan Dionisio. Wonderful, wonderful unforgettable performances. Like Les Miz, will never tire watching these productions over & over again.

  10. Gigi used to be an ensemble type of role (extra lang kumbaga) but RACHELLE changed it big time that Cameron Mackintosh always put Rachelle (Gigi) on Miss Saigon's video trailers.

  17. Miss Saigon gave Rachelle Ann Go a huge break in theater. We already know how good she is in singing. MS showed the acting talent in her we barely noticed. Good for her.

  18. Lea could hv been the fittest actress to portray kim sana noon p ginawan ng film version haaaay i watched it twice sa ccp way back one sa balcony and the other one sa orchestra and oh boy, nkakadala ang performance par excellance ni Lea!!!

    1. Mas bagay si Lea sa big screen no? Kaya Lang tumanda na kasi siya. Sana man Lang they got a better looking actress for the lead. This one looks like Kiray.

    2. 9:38 100% agree. Kim is Lea. A movie version should have been done 20 yrs ago. Lea as Kim could have reaped more laurels for her. The CD of the original cast guves me gooseys all the time.
