i don't see anything wrong if he doesnt know any pinoy songs. lets not be overly sensitive on this. moving forward, he should learn to speak the language.
There's definitely something wrong for a representative to represent a country if he doesn't know a single thing about that country. Tigilan na kasi ang pagsamba sa mga half-blooded na pumunta lang pilipinas for a career. Mas mabuti pa yung mga foreignoy(foreigner na may love for the phils.)
Excuse you naman. Si marc nelson magaling magFilipino. And may legit hosting skills. Ang galing nga nila sa sports unlimited. I also watched him with rovilson sa amazing race asia. Kaproudproud sila.
SA ASIA (AND FOR SURE OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD), TAYO LANG ANG HINDI GANUN KAPROUD SA LANGUAGE NATIN.
I dont get it. Other representatives have no issue with speaking their own language pero bakit ang mga pinoy parang kinahihiya ang mag tagalog? --- raised in Canada but can speak fluent Tagalog.
You call yourself a Filipino? How effing embarrassing. This is inexcusable.
So wat? Ako rin naman ah may lahing Chinese and Spanish pero I consider myself 100 percent pinoy. Being a Filipino is not just about having Filipino parents, it is also about loving the culture, country, and way of life, and speaking tagalog is one of those things. Read bet. the lines ho next time ha?
LMAO. Yan napapala ni Tita Cory sa kanyang walang screeneing, kusa handpicking the Ph delegate for Mr. Workd. Nakakahiya talaga!
Wala talagang effort na binibigay sa Mr. World, very obvious, kahit sa dialect na lng. It represents so negatively to us.
HE IS SNOB. HE DOESNT DESERVE IN THAT TITLE. WALA SAKANYA ANG VALUES NG PAGING ISANG FILIPINO. WHY HIM?!
U DONT KNOW ANY FILIPINO SONG KAHIT PAMBANSANG AWIT MAN LANG. SHAME ON YOU. HINDI NYA DESERVE ANG TITLE. NAKITA LANG NA GWAPO AT MAGANDA ANG KATAWAN SYA NA ANG PINILI. ANU BA YAN!!!
Mga Pilipino kase mapang lait..I'm sure marunong nang tagalog yan but decided not to speak kase nga may accent at baka sya pagtawanan nang mga kapwa nya Pilipino...my son grew up here in the US and can speak tagalog..pero one time umuwi kami dyan sa Phils. and my son tried to speak tagalog pero pinagtatawanan sya because of his accent..after that incident he never try to speak tagalog ever again.
Half breed din po ako... When I first came here, I had a distinct briton accent na hindi sanay ang mga kabataan ng dekada 90's. I was VERY bullied back then kasi iba ang english ko sa nakasanayang english with american accent ng mga pinoy. At kayumanggi ako at hindi puti
THAT did NOT stop me from speaking Filipino Ayus ayusin mo pagpapalaki mo sa anak mo.

Very pinoy and has a nice bod and intelligent too. I think pinoy looks will stand out in that competition.
ReplyDeleteI agree.
