That's very nice at a young age she's already aware about global issues, But seriously she lives in a third world country with 90 percent of the population are poor. I think Philippines needs more help that one of the most powerful country on earth. Just an observation.
She did already :) I was with her one time in Laguna. You can do missions abroad too nag volunteer siya. Sariling gastos nga lang it's one of a great experience mag missions abroad. Marami Ka rin matutunan and Mas mag strengthen din faith mo.
Walang refugee ng middle east s US..baka s Canada ang sinasabi..beside ang government ang tumutulong s kanila, ok ang buhay ng mga refugee s canada..hindi siya doctor or marunong mag arabic..so i dont think s mga refugee siya mag mission...SIGURO KUNG S EUROPE P, DAHIL DOON ILLEGAL ANG PAGPASOK NIla
Vacation na makasalamuha ka ng ibat ibang klase ng Tao at tbe same time with purpose na tumulong. Sariling gastos niya naman yan so wag muna problimahin.
Kahit first world countries may mga refugee. Marami nga home for the aged sa US na matatandang hindi manlang maalala dalawin ng mga anak nila. Pero kunting dalaw at kwentuhan from strangers masaya na sila.
Tama.si 12:54 sa Canada meron. Sana nagsabi ka ng state! Anong state ba alam mo merong ME refugee sa US? Saskatchewan? Toronto? Manitoba? Quebec?
Saang state nga!? And yung home for the aged e iba sa refugee! Given na yung 1st world countries me refugees pero saang state sa US!?
ngek, mission in the states? dapat ang totoong mission e yung sa PILIPINAs. daming nangangailangan dito kesa sa america. mga missionaryo ng a sa america e nagpupunta dito at sa africa sa mga poor countries dahil doon ang kailangan hinde po sa america. That is what you call Vacation, not mission work.
iba iba talaga ang perception ng mga tao. kung bakit negative agad na-take yung mission na yan and pagbabakasyon agad ang interpretation. di ba pwedeng gusto lang maiba ng kaunti at baka nag-try na rin sya dito. ok lang din to widen your horizon paminsan-minsan
Baklang Manicurista - ano nakakaloka doon? 2:36 - Unlike you, I have a fat brain.
FYI - Iba-iba ang nature ng missions: health, education, hunger, peace, spreading the teachings of the church, etc.
I'm quite sure kuda lang kayo ng kuda but you never went on a mission. Visit your church/parish office and ask kung makapag volunteer kayo sa soup kitchen man lang para naman mamulat ang makikitid nyong utak. Kung wala pa din kayong time, mag donate kayo kahit 500 pesos. Kung wala kayo both time and money, shut up na lang.
D kami mayaman d2 but we help.
Why do a lot of commenters here choose to find fault or bad in everything? I think what she chose was good. Besides, malay rin natin baka naka tulong rin dito. Stop the hate na po sana.
I believe it is better that she grow her humanitarian ek ek sa sariling bansa. It is hypocrite to say just going there for humanitarian when you can share sa mga mahirap kung ano gagastusin mo sa ibang bansa. Unless part ng school activity nila yan so she has no choice. But mas madaming kailangan ng tulong sa pinas, and with her influence she can help more dito. The intention is good pero alam nila na kukuyugin sya ng batikos for some reason that ang layo pa para tumulong.
She should do mission work in the hinderlands of Sarangani province where the impoverished B'laan's lives..many volunteers are needed to help the medical mission of Dr. Roel Cagape (you can google him) a Bayaning Pilipino awardee of Abs Cbn. Why waste your time and money in the u.s. when right here in your own country so many people are in dire need of help! What a misplaced idea of charity!
Agree. Maging masaya na lang at may isang pa na parang representative or ambassador tayo. May masasabing pang good about our country.
If not, then opinyon mo lang ito no? And since sabi mo madami pwede tulungan sa pinas, paki tulungan nga please, otherwise just be happy rhat someone else is out there na tumutulong, ke pinoy hapon at kung anik anik
jusko, hindi lahat ng nasa USA ay may kaya... madami din homeless people, mnga teenager na naliligaw ng landas...there is more to life than showbusiness ..
Ano ba paki nyo kung sa US gusto magmmission work. It will help build her portfolio lalo na kung gusto nya mag work sa UN in the future. Gusto nyo mapaganda profile nya.
Claudia's done her part dito sa Philippines. Now she's broadening her reach. Instead of going on vacations sa US like her peers, she's going there with a purpose-- to vulonteer. America is a place open to help all countries affected by illness calamity and poverty. There are multiple programs in America where the youth are encouraged to help out. Not only she learns how hard a lot of people have it in life, she'll meet different kinds/races of people who will teach her a lesson she'll keep in her forever. Who are you to judge her right away?
It's good for someone her age to be exposed in a bigger purpose. There's a lot of people in America who also needs help. Thinking once setting foot in the country they're American Dreams will successfully come true But unfortunately go through the worst experiences of their lives. Be open minded just like Claudia. Even in first world countries, there are people who need help too.
Awwww Bongga!
ReplyDeleteslow clap to Claudia!

Mas maraming nangangailangan ng tulong sa Pilipinas, bakit kailangan sa first-world country pa mag-mission work?
