    4. Are you serious?! That's the point of a trailer, to give glimpse and mystery to the movie para mas maengganyo ang mga manonood. Kung gusto mo ng complete answer, e di sana sinali na nila yung buong movie.

  5. Iilan lang ang directors from the Philippines na kilala ng mga tao sa Cannes, and Brillante Mendoza is one of them. Sana maging maganda ang reception ng movie na ito para may chance pang ma-introduce sa mas marami pang audience here and outside the country. Oscars is a long shot. Mega campaign means mega funding ang kailangan. Fact yan. Pero hindi naman masamang mangaraop for our film industry. Malabo kasi yung Hele for Oscars, masyadong mahaba. Majority of Oscar voters matatandang lalaki. I don't think they would have the patience to sit through an 8 hr long film. Hopefully ito maka-gain ng momentum sa Cannes.

  6. Ano ba si Jaclyn? Drug pusher, mamasan? Medyo kulang sa linaw.

    1. Mendoza is a social realist type of director. His filmmaking ideology and style resonates well with the late Lino Brocka. Yung mga ganitong klase ng pelikula e hindi pang-"escapist" kaya rarely appreciated siya sa local audience. Karamihan sa mga Pinoy e nanonood ng pelikula para makatakas sa realidad ng buhay.
