To be honest napanood ko both. Mas maganda ang Just the 3 of us. Pero kung makajadine ka at gusto mong kiligin lang then go watch maeenjoy mo ang This Time. Pero kung story ang paguusapan mas worth manood ng Just the 3 of us. Yun na!
Ive watched both films. Jlc is really a great actor. Jadine is kilig. But i prefer this time because of the storyline and comdedic timing. Hagalpak sa tawa. Bago ang story for me. Ang j3ou naman parang same2 pa din sa mga ginawa na ni jen, same ang atake kumbaga. I honestly expected more from j3ou.

Wasted 230 pesos and 2hrs of my life to this movie :( Don't get me wrong I'm a fan but parang kwinartahan lang tayo ng producers. Didn't give the fans what we deserve.
If you are a fan, the least thing you can do is to promote the movie and not discourage other movie goers from seeing it. May kanya-kanya naman tayong panlasa, kung sa tingin mo nasayang ang pera't oras mo may iba naman na sobrang nag enjoy at naentertain nang napanood ang movie. Ang oag discouraged mo sa iba ay hindi makakatulong sa mga iniidolo mo (if you're really a fan... but the way I see it I think you are not).

Actually I've watched the 2 movies...totoo maganda yung JT3OU pero napaka-cliche na ng stories..i dont know Noel Naval pero revelation sakin yung movie nyang This Time. I am a Jadine fan pero thr credit should go both sa director and artists.
wala ka namang proof na nanuod ka lels ang daling sabihin na "nanuod ako ang pangit promise wag na kayo manuod" pero di ka naman talaga nanuod dahil bitter ka lang at ayaw mo sa JaDine hahaha! May sakit ka ata kung hindi ka natawa sa scenes ni Candy at di mo naintindihan yung lesson ng kwento.
I actually enjoyed the film... right dose of kilig, romance and comedy. Super light lng ng story. Aalis ka ng sinehan na may ngiti sa mga labi. Pero if it isn't your liking may kanya-kanya naman tayong opinion and preference.

Congrats Team This Time! Sana maging masaya nalang ang mga bashers sa success ng iba. Di niyo ikakayaman ang maging bitter. I actually watched the movie. It's a feel good and surprisingly, it did not disappoint at all. Very light conflict which makes it more realistic and yet they were able to execute it well. Refreshing lang and may tamang kirot.. And you know what made it nice? The undeniable, effortless chemistry of James & Nadine.

Grading depends on the quality and values na ini-impart ng film sa viewers. Regardless sa MTRCB classification or tema at trato sa kwento yan. It also determines the amount of tax na ire-remit ng producer sa BIR. But at the end of the day, appreciation of the movie will still depend on the moviegoer himself/herself.

Hindi tinulungan meaning that most probably Viva and Cornetto must've paid for the airtime para maka-ere ng trailer nila sa ABS. Just like DNP. Before kasi when ABS partnered with Viva for TBYD and PSHR meaning revenue share kapalit ng trailers within the station, baka hindi masyadong nabawi ang expenses. Kaya itong 4th team up mas pinili nalang siguro na ibalik sa dating promo strategy.

I decided to watch This Time last night after having a hard day at work. Lumabas ako ng sinehan nang nakangiti. Indeed, feel-good movie ang This Time. The scenes in Japan were the best! It's a movie for the family. :)
Infairness solid din ng fandom nila ha. Hindi maganda ang trailer, kasabay pa civil war at jt3ou pero naka 15M. Oh ayan viva, the fans did their share na. Kayo naman. Sana next time paghandaan na ang movie para hindi ngarag.
Marami na akong naririnig na padding issue nung filmfest pa. Dalawang bagay lang yan --- either parehas nag-pad or parehas nag-under declare at nagpapakiramdaman. Ang rason, tax! At dahil Graded A ang This Time at Graded B ang JT3OU, ayos na parehong lesser taxes for the producers yan. Kaya wag niyo na i-stress sarili niyo kaiisip dyan, baka pare-parehas lang tayo pinasasakay ng parehong outfit haha. :)

Kaya mas totoo yung figure ng star cinema. Yang This Time bayad yan ng Cornetto na bumili sa rights ng movie hindi pa man pinalalabas.
Expected na mas titiba talaga si JLC sa takilya and Jen with her recent winning streak sa box office. They have more credentials anyway. Pero wag na kayong masyadong mag-focus sa kinita kasi di naman tayo ang makikinabang sa kinita, lols! :) Maging masaya nalang tayo na parehong movie ay tinangkilik. Pangitain lang na marami ang stressed lately at gustong masiyahan kahit sandali lang. Maigi nga may options ang viewers. :)

Congrats JaDine! My family watched it yesterday. Tawang tawa daw sila sa mga punchlines,very good cinematography and acting. Pero ofcourse there will always be room for improvement. Next time pls wag isabay ang shooting sa world tour. Sayang ang daming pwede gawin ng jadine.
I watched it to support my friend. Honestly, maganda naman yung cinematography and sobrang galing ni Candy talaga. Pero for a Graded A movie, I kinda expected more. Di ko naman sinasabi na dapat heavy drama pero for me, the lead characters ay medyo kulang sa acting lalo na si James. There is always room for improvement naman. I expected better lang siguro dahil sa acting nila sa OTWOL. Well this is only my opinion. :)
Kung may lacking man sa story, that is the conflict, hindi sya the traditional nakakakirot at over-the-top conflict ng mga traditional pinoy movies. But one thing's for sure, di nagkulang ang JaDine dito. It's not their fault kung nailatag sakanilang kwento ng Viva is nagkulang. But they sure did give justice to their characters.. I would still recommend it, kasi nakaka-happy siya. Lalabas ka ng nakangiti. Must be their chemistry. Nicholas Sparks feels na very light lang. I for one did not like the trailer, I just had to watch it to see for myself. It wasnt bad as I thought it would be. And it did not disappoint. TRUST ME.

Congrats to the whole This Time Team! I enjoyed it. All the stars have given a thumbs up performance. It's funny and uber kilig. JaDine's portrayal was far from that their previous movies. Super nag improved sila - wala na yun awkward moments sa pag arte nila, natural na ang dating. maganda na rin excution ng mga scenes. And thums up to Ms. Candy Pangilinan, sobrang nakakaaliw sya at ang Buhay Family . It was not an A+ movie but I can definitely say that majority of the moviegoers will enjoy this. It's a light and feel good movie. Uuwi kang nakangiti.
Ako rin. Hindi siya WOW na WOW pero hindi siya pangit. Have to also hand it to Candy Pangilinan, pag ganyang light movie, maganda ang brand of comedy niya. Even mga supporting cast like Ronnie Lazaro and Yam Concepcion, ok! And Freddie Webb still looks hot. Family-centered ang story kaya siguro naka-Grade A, feel good talaga. Which is what we also need sa gitna ng mga maiinit na talakayan sa eleksyon eh hahaha :)

To all the solid Jadine fans let's demand a better output from our idols. This is a downgrade from what they offered in Otwol. Back to square one sila sa quality nito.
Note that this was a Cornetto-sponsored movie that was in the bag even way before OTWOL ended. Too bad it was no longer tweaked para ma-adjust sa level ng huling team-up. I agree it did not deliver the same level of their improved acting chops (coming from PSHR) and kilig that they showed in OTWOL, but it was definitely an improvement for the two stars. Slowly, especially given a real good storyline and a good director (not saying Naval was bad ha), I'm sure JaDine will be able to pull through. :)
This Time movie is made for Jadine fans who want to go see their idolets on screen in an airconditioned venue. If you are a fan, go watch it without high expectations. My two cents on the film. I'll go watch J3OU next. Support Filipino films!

Congrats to both films. No need to be bitter. Ang mahalaga tinangkilik natin ang sariling atin. I watched This Time yesterday and I must say that this is really a feel good movie. Yung tipong after a long day's work and you just need to unwind before going home. Lalabas ka ng sinehan nang nakangiti at kilig na kilig. It was worth my 240 bucks pati yung binili kong pagkain. If Jadine will be given the chance to work/handled by good directors and scriptwriters baka sumabog sila sa box office! In this generations loveteams sila Lang yung nakita Kong pwede mag crossover from teen roles to mature roles!
Sus sila lang talaga? Ang LizQuen nga nakacrossover na eh, mature na ginanapan nila sa Everyday I Love You. Pati ngayon sa Dolce Amore mga college graduates at professionals ang ginaganapan at kering keri naman nila.
Antay antay lang tayo. May naulinigan ako na si Tonette Jadaone ay napipinto para sa next project nila. Kung kelan di pa alam pero at least nasa plano. So tama ka malaking factor din ang good story, writer at director. And pag dumating yan, doble triple ang magiging excitement ko dyan :)

A better concept and more mature roles sana for their next movie (4 teen flicks is enough). Mas paghandaan sana at huwag madaliin (a few days before playdate nagshoo-shoot pa should be a no-no). Ang laki naman ng inimproved ng JaDines pagdating sa acting at sobrang lumaki rin ang fanbase nila after OTWOL, huwag sanang sayangin ng management... sana they will use it to their advantage.

Napanuod ko pareho, may kanya-kanyang strengths at weaknesses ang both movies. Both are feel good. Both speak the language of love. Pero may kanya-kanyang atake at treatment at iba-iba rin tayo ng panlasa so support nalang natin yung preference natin without having to pull down the others, lalo at fellow pinoy movie din naman. Bawas sa kain ng amapalaya at talangka.
While the movie did not deliver the same amount of kilig as OTWOL, this is way better than their previous films. Congrats, JaDine, Viva and the whole cast and staff. :)
to each his own. kung di feel manood di wag manood. let the moviegoers decide. kung kumita both bakit nagbanangayan pa. nakikita naman na sinupprtahan talaga ang this time. from the start sinabi na talaga na feel good movie to. di kasalanan ng jadine kung pangit ang storyline kasi artista lang sila. ang importante they did their part as actors. yung nagpromote at nagpunta pa sa mga sinehan effort na yun. tagal na di ginagawa ng mga artista to. but they were there with a big smile. david v.s. goliath ang nangyari. jadines had a good fight though :) congratulations!
This is their best movie in my opinion. May kilig, tawa, iyak (nakarelate kasi ako sa special friend, sad ending nga lang yung akin nyehehehe). Great cinematography. Hindi ko nasubaybayan masyado ang Otwol, pero napanood ko lahat ng movies nila and I must say acting wise, they have improved. Worth your money naman. Will watch J3OU on the weekend :)
Can we just stop comparing and be happy that both films had good opening box office numbers and good CEB ratings? It's good for the local movie industry!

It's a well-executed feel-good movie. Some parts I felt dragged a bit pero overall, na-entertain naman ako. And the visuals were outstanding lalo na sa Japan scenes nila. And kung sino man nakaisip nung last scene... magaling!

Actually ok yung 16m na kita on a first day showing for jd3ou dahil R13.meaning hindi lahat pwede.saka magkaiba ang crowd ng this time and jd3ou so no conparison.just be happy dahil lumalakas na film industry sa pilipinas.

DeleteIf you are a fan, the least thing you can do is to promote the movie and not discourage other movie goers from seeing it. May kanya-kanya naman tayong panlasa, kung sa tingin mo nasayang ang pera't oras mo may iba naman na sobrang nag enjoy at naentertain nang napanood ang movie. Ang oag discouraged mo sa iba ay hindi makakatulong sa mga iniidolo mo (if you're really a fan... but the way I see it I think you are not).

Congrats Team This Time! Sana maging masaya nalang ang mga bashers sa success ng iba. Di niyo ikakayaman ang maging bitter. I actually watched the movie. It's a feel good and surprisingly, it did not disappoint at all. Very light conflict which makes it more realistic and yet they were able to execute it well. Refreshing lang and may tamang kirot.. And you know what made it nice? The undeniable, effortless chemistry of James & Nadine.

DeleteGrading depends on the quality and values na ini-impart ng film sa viewers. Regardless sa MTRCB classification or tema at trato sa kwento yan. It also determines the amount of tax na ire-remit ng producer sa BIR. But at the end of the day, appreciation of the movie will still depend on the moviegoer himself/herself.

DeleteHindi tinulungan meaning that most probably Viva and Cornetto must've paid for the airtime para maka-ere ng trailer nila sa ABS. Just like DNP. Before kasi when ABS partnered with Viva for TBYD and PSHR meaning revenue share kapalit ng trailers within the station, baka hindi masyadong nabawi ang expenses. Kaya itong 4th team up mas pinili nalang siguro na ibalik sa dating promo strategy.

ReplyDeleteI watched it to support my friend. Honestly, maganda naman yung cinematography and sobrang galing ni Candy talaga. Pero for a Graded A movie, I kinda expected more. Di ko naman sinasabi na dapat heavy drama pero for me, the lead characters ay medyo kulang sa acting lalo na si James. There is always room for improvement naman. I expected better lang siguro dahil sa acting nila sa OTWOL. Well this is only my opinion. :)

DeleteKung may lacking man sa story, that is the conflict, hindi sya the traditional nakakakirot at over-the-top conflict ng mga traditional pinoy movies. But one thing's for sure, di nagkulang ang JaDine dito. It's not their fault kung nailatag sakanilang kwento ng Viva is nagkulang. But they sure did give justice to their characters.. I would still recommend it, kasi nakaka-happy siya. Lalabas ka ng nakangiti. Must be their chemistry. Nicholas Sparks feels na very light lang. I for one did not like the trailer, I just had to watch it to see for myself. It wasnt bad as I thought it would be. And it did not disappoint. TRUST ME.

ReplyDeleteCongrats to the whole This Time Team! I enjoyed it. All the stars have given a thumbs up performance. It's funny and uber kilig. JaDine's portrayal was far from that their previous movies. Super nag improved sila - wala na yun awkward moments sa pag arte nila, natural na ang dating. maganda na rin excution ng mga scenes. And thums up to Ms. Candy Pangilinan, sobrang nakakaaliw sya at ang Buhay Family . It was not an A+ movie but I can definitely say that majority of the moviegoers will enjoy this. It's a light and feel good movie. Uuwi kang nakangiti.

Even mga supporting cast like Ronnie Lazaro and Yam Concepcion, ok! And Freddie Webb still looks hot. Family-centered ang story kaya siguro naka-Grade A, feel good talaga. Which is what we also need sa gitna ng mga maiinit na talakayan sa eleksyon eh hahaha :)

ReplyDeleteNote that this was a Cornetto-sponsored movie that was in the bag even way before OTWOL ended. Too bad it was no longer tweaked para ma-adjust sa level ng huling team-up. I agree it did not deliver the same level of their improved acting chops (coming from PSHR) and kilig that they showed in OTWOL, but it was definitely an improvement for the two stars. Slowly, especially given a real good storyline and a good director (not saying Naval was bad ha), I'm sure JaDine will be able to pull through. :)

Yung tipong after a long day's work and you just need to unwind before going home. Lalabas ka ng sinehan nang nakangiti at kilig na kilig. It was worth my 240 bucks pati yung binili kong pagkain. Congrats to both films.
ReplyDeleteIf Jadine will be given the chance to work/handled by good directors and scriptwriters baka sumabog sila sa box office! In this generations loveteams sila Lang yung nakita Kong pwede mag crossover from teen roles to mature roles!

DeleteAntay antay lang tayo. May naulinigan ako na si Tonette Jadaone ay napipinto para sa next project nila. Kung kelan di pa alam pero at least nasa plano. So tama ka malaking factor din ang good story, writer at director. And pag dumating yan, doble triple ang magiging excitement ko dyan :)

DeleteA better concept and more mature roles sana for their next movie (4 teen flicks is enough). Mas paghandaan sana at huwag madaliin (a few days before playdate nagshoo-shoot pa should be a no-no). Ang laki naman ng inimproved ng JaDines pagdating sa acting at sobrang lumaki rin ang fanbase nila after OTWOL, huwag sanang sayangin ng management... sana they will use it to their advantage.

ReplyDeleteNapanuod ko pareho, may kanya-kanyang strengths at weaknesses ang both movies. Both are feel good. Both speak the language of love. Pero may kanya-kanyang atake at treatment at iba-iba rin tayo ng panlasa so support nalang natin yung preference natin without having to pull down the others, lalo at fellow pinoy movie din naman. Bawas sa kain ng amapalaya at talangka.

to each his own. kung di feel manood di wag manood. let the moviegoers decide. kung kumita both bakit nagbanangayan pa. nakikita naman na sinupprtahan talaga ang this time. from the start sinabi na talaga na feel good movie to. di kasalanan ng jadine kung pangit ang storyline kasi artista lang sila. ang importante they did their part as actors. yung nagpromote at nagpunta pa sa mga sinehan effort na yun. tagal na di ginagawa ng mga artista to. but they were there with a big smile. david v.s. goliath ang nangyari. jadines had a good fight though :) congratulations!
ReplyDeleteThis is their best movie in my opinion. May kilig, tawa, iyak (nakarelate kasi ako sa special friend, sad ending nga lang yung akin nyehehehe). Great cinematography. Hindi ko nasubaybayan masyado ang Otwol, pero napanood ko lahat ng movies nila and I must say acting wise, they have improved. Worth your money naman. Will watch J3OU on the weekend :)

ReplyDeleteIt's a well-executed feel-good movie. Some parts I felt dragged a bit pero overall, na-entertain naman ako. And the visuals were outstanding lalo na sa Japan scenes nila. And kung sino man nakaisip nung last scene... magaling!
