I think it has been established that the MTRCB has no jurisdiction over campaign political ads, so Gladys' post is kind of moot and academic at this point.
People need to understand that all the "questionable" ad did was compile what came out of Duterte's mouth the entire time he campaigned, and asked the question, "would you vote for somebody like Duterte?"
The format is no different from any other political ad where some footage of a candidate giving an empty promise to the voters is captured, and a question is raised at the end of it, if he or she is the right candidate to vote for.
still this is an example how influence is used by the INC....me posisyon si Gladys tuka sa MTRCB! Pag me nagsabi coz she has credentials thats why she is there eh thats a crapload of crap!
People should now realize that there is a loophole on every RULE OF LAW coz THEY (Satan's cohorts) made this laws! #Fact they can run around about it! But wait for it when the real Last Messenger will rise it will establish the Ancient Order of things and will impose the RULE OF GOD! And he is not Du30....
The issue of having children in the content of political ads is very arbitrary.
In that, children may be used if a political ad shows a child smiling and happy to be a recipient of a candidate's promise; however, it becomes illegal all of a sudden when the child is shown espousing the values of the candidate being challenged by the political ad.
So, all these clamor for "fair use and human rights of children and the youth in political ads" is all about the convenient use or implementation of whatever rules of law that may apply--whosoever benefits from it.
There is no real advocacy for the rights of the child with respect to political ads. There is only advocacy to advance Duterte's right to run for the presidency.
What I like most here in FP is not just chismis but also the comments are very smart and the words chosen will identified that the commenter is educated and intelligent.
My opinion on the issue is, for me children should not be used to any political and whether its good or black propaganda. Their innocence were exploited and they are scarred for life.
I feel like people are using the whole children issue para ilihis yung subject of talk. That's all. I'm sure these children have parents who approved. At ano naman ang pagkakaiba sa roles that child actors play that are not the most ideal but us needed to relay a story?
In the advertising industry here, the only regulations we have when we use minors as talents is to pass necessary forms and attend seminars with the minors' guardians in the dept. of labor's office. The content of advertisements is supposedly reviewed by ad standard council. That is our standard process. Now, since it's a political ad, I'm not sure if the same standard procedure applies.
In my opinion, the ad involves children to create more impact and to get message across. Whether it's degrading is pretty much subjective. But I think, the more important question is where do they get the funds to actually produce and buy airtime for these ads. Mahina ang 1 week to conceptualize, shoot and edit 1 television commercial kapag political ad plus buying airtimes.

So what's the infraction?
You're right and what's the big deal with the ads, it was the truth
DeleteFunny that some people who clamor for change, aren't changing themselves to make this world a better place. Hypocrisy at its best.
DeleteTHIS IS THE RULE OF LAW AT WORK!

ReplyDeleteTuruan pong taya! Tsk.
ReplyDeleteMay naging pahayag ba si Sen. Pia Cayetano sa rape joke ni Duterte? Parang wala akong narinig o nabasa.
ReplyDeleteSaw it in the news, MTRCB's website was hacked
Peste!

True. Mas cyruous ako sino ang nagbayad sa ads because it is certainly NOT Trillanes.
