Her Determined Persuasive Power

The arrival of Assertive Personality (AP) at her office no longer surprised Network Executive (NE). NE had an inkling that AP might just raise a fuss over a recent decision involving the next project of Handsome Talent (HT) and Popular Celebrity (PC). Because AP seems to be asserting her presence in the station, she has the confidence to go directly to NE and air her concerns.

Prior to that meeting, AP and Tenacious Strategist (TS) had a talk concerning the future projects of HT and PC. TS found out that HT and PC will be doing a huge project for the network, but the location will just be limited to the four corners of the country. In other words, HT and PC will just be staying put in the local regions as required in the script. Apparently, TS feels bad because the projects of the other network talents were shot in various countries, while HT and PC were only given projects shot in a province. Further, TS feels that the network owes HT and PC because attention has been given to the development of the others, while the duo was given the short end. It seemed that HT and PC were becoming underdogs.

As TS is close to AP because of their shared interest, it was easy for them to come up with their assertion and demand some project that would make their talents to be at par with the other loveteams. Using her influence and positive vibes with the network, AP knew who to approach. Thus, AP met with NE to tell the latter that HT and PC should be given a project that would relate better to the international fans. AP then requested NE to persuade the higher ups to support a project for HT and PC to be shot abroad.

The meeting of NE with the higher bosses was successful. The management agreed to give in to the request of AP and TS. HT and PC will finally have a project shot overseas, which should propel them to be at par once again with the rest of the high profile talents of the network. However, such decision came at a high price. Allegedly, the overseas project was not meant for HT and PC. The location was meant for the Other Loveteam (OL) that is continuously increasing its share of followers. Some who knew of the circumstances could not help but think that AP and TS ‘stole’ the project meant for OL.
