    4. @12:52 bakit? Lea Salonga IS one of the many authorities in theater and you should know that!

    5. With her vast international exposure in musical theater I would say Yes. She is sought after in the US.

    6. I don't think so Anon 1:23, akala mo lang yon.

    12. Lea has proved herself, and cya ang unang Pinoy na nagkaron ng Tony Awards, it's the equivalent of an Oscar Award pero sa theater. And if you've seen that video of hers that went viral dati, where she sang A Whole New World with that foreign group, the clarity of her voice and perfect pitch is still on point after 20 years. That's how good she is.

Oooops!

    1. Not a network fantard daw pero damang dama ang hate mo sa ka-f lol. Well to be fair, what I like about rachelle is that nag-sikap siyang kumawala sa anino si sarah. Gumawa siya ng sarili niyang pangalan. Nag-decide siya. Nag-audition siya, at lalo pa niyang ginalingan. Kaya she deserves what's happening to her right now. Deserve niya ang mga blessings niya.

    2. Kung nasa ASAP pa siya at biglang may auditions for Miss Saigon, im sure she will still go for the auditions. And besides, it is LEA SALONGA who persuaded her to audition - regardless of the network where they both associated with at that time.

    1. Teh it's not about the network. It's her decision & effort to be better. It's her own decision to take the risk to audition, and mag-base sa london. Well kudos to her.

    3. she's not with viva nung nag auditon sya sa miss saigon. and yes gma nag push sa kanya mag audition kahit ayaw nya kasi nahihiya raw sya. marami sila pinag audition ng gma franchesca farr and julie anne aicellesantos

  4. If there is anyone who should take credit for what Rachelle Ann has achieved, it's herself. Wag sabihing dahil sa GMA kaya sya nagkacareer. Even if nasa ABS sya, she could have taken that audition and had the same fate. Isa pa, what would you remember anyways as something really big when she was on GMA na hindi pa nya nagawa sa ABS?? Kaloka!!

  7. I've seen Les Mis Manila yesterday and she was so good. I knew her as Sarah's 2nd best in ASAP na may tencency na pumiyok at ma-off tune. but gaad right now nagamot ang mga dapat gamutin. Every filipino inside the theater was cheering for her. Sa kanya tumayo at pumalakpak. Nakakaiyak the 1st moment she threw a line. Nakakaproud maging pinoy. Maraming mas magaling sa kanya but she was the one who was brave enough to take a chance in the international scene. Nakakaproud.

  8. Who would have thought? Ang dating pinapatayan ng mic sa A*S* during Champions prod, super admired na sa international theatre scene!

  9. I work at Solaire and this lady is a sweetheart! So pretty and humble. Plus, Cameron Mackintosh really loves her! I think she's already booked for international theatre projects in the next 2-3 years. Cameron was amazed by how she charmed the London audiences to the point that people wait for her by the stage door and halos hindi na napapansin ang ibang actors! Congrats, Shin!!!

He considers her his current muse/leading lady! Haha! Kahiya naman sa ASAP standards!

  11. Congratulations, Rachelle! Matalino din siya that she chose to be on a leave of absence sa West End to do the Manila leg of Les Mis. Ngayon, nakita na ng mga Pinoy ang talent na matagal tinengga ng previous management niya sa freezer in favor of their favored "star". This is sweet redemption for her!

  12. FYI lang! The following people are the one's reponsible for RAG's audition for musicals: 1. Her uncles in Toronto who brought her out to watch Miss Saigon, 2. Director Bobby Garcia who directed Shin for her theatre debut (Asian premiere of Disney's The Little Mermaid), and 3. No less than Miss Lea Salonga herself who sent Shin messages asking/encouraging her to audition for Miss Saigon. These people encouraged her. Not any network in particular. And again, let's give Shin much credit for the courage to audition. She's a risk taker, sabi nga ni Miss Lea, Fortune favors the brave!
