Anon1:01 am. Green card holder ibig sabihin legal resident Sya NG USA. At dahil green card holder Sya Pwede Syang labas pasok Sa US NG walang US VISA . At bilang legal resident kailangan din Nya mag stay Sa US for a certain amount of time... After mong maging green card holder at naka stay ka NG total of 5 years Sa US Pwede ka Na mag apply NG citizenship.
Yung american citizen my american passport. Tsaka yung green card po passage po yan di citizenship.
Green card holders cannot do everything that U.S. citizens can. They cannot vote in U.S. elections. They cannot remain outside the U.S. for unlimited amounts of time or make their home elsewhere – doing so will result in abandonment of their residency and refusal of their request to reenter the United States.
Anon 1:40AM, most of what you said is correct. The only erroneous part was about not having a US visa. A green card is the visa -- it is an immigrant visa. I think what you meant to say was "puwede siyang labas pasok sa US without a tourist visa:"
If she's a green a card holder it means she cannot stay longer than 6 months in the Philippines. If she stay longer in the Phil immigration will question her and might withdraw the visa. Anyhow what important is kahit anong citizen ang pilipino ay dapat pa rin ika-proud ang pinanggalingan.
@8:02 yan din sana aask ko. Kung ano conditions nung green card kase it looks like KC spends most of her time in the PHils? And kung hindi naman mgapply ng US citiznship si KC, mrrenew lng ba nya ung green card/resident visa nya? Hindi ba may expiry din un?
10 years ang expiration ng green card. Yung entry mo ang ingatan mo. If may valid reason sya to stay away more than six months, she can fight for it in court if i-refuse sya ng entry. Strict ang US sa residency nila. - GreenCardHolder who voluntarily gave-it up
5:06, i wonder how u look like in person? Assuming mas maganda ka kay KC, but if u have that kind of attitude so full of negativity sa katawan, i do not think u will go places. Karma is already working for you so wait for what is bound to happen. Start praying.
She’s an American Citizen like her mom (dual citizenship). I think, lolo ng mom nya US citizen. Found this arricle saying “ am flying home to my Mommy's Gramps' country, where only my eldest and I are legal residents.(-Sharon Cuneta).”
KC is truly beautiful. Nung lowkey pa siya dati gustong gusto siya ng mga tao parang si dom cojuanco but when she joined showbiz marami na siyang bashers.
Anon 12:42 am. Green card holder Lang Sya Sabi dati Hinde pa Sya US citizen so Filipino passport holder pa rin Sya . At Kahit Na ba American passport holder pa Sya Filipina in heart pa Sya eh ... Sino tayo para kumontra although technically Kung American passport holder Sya Hinde Na nga Sya Pinay.
What's the fuss with her being a green card holder? Her family have real estate property in US, she's an ambassador of an international org, she even studied and lived in US while her stepfather was in an ivy league university. Why doubt her being a Filipino citizen because of her green card? Why take that against her? To think that Filipinos can have another citizenship.
Ayaw lanf nila kay KC. Sa psychology, hindi raw totoo yung reasoning na ayaw mo for no reason at all. Tiyak ayaw mo ang isang tao dahil one way or another, meron kang isang ibsecurity na natatamaan. At yung mga nagsasabing naartehan kc kayo kay KC, feeling pabebe kasi etc.. bakit kayo ba walang kapintasan?
Kasi they can't attain what KC have in life. So the easiest way to come out of their zealous self is to dislike her for no reason... So 3rd world country attitude!
This is anon 12:36 para kay anon 1:17-- so may reason nga, because they cannot attain what kc has. Thanks for sharing my thought.
And no, wala akong balato for u sa ngayon. Just start working your a## para naman magkaroon ng saysay ang buhay mo.
Unlike you she can afford to go to other countries if she desire to. Ikaw 2:16 mahirapan nga cguro mka pag travel from one Philippines island to another...
I love her attire here. That's a photoshoot mga bekz so she can wear anything dyan. Keber kung mag fur coat pa sya dyan. Regarding being a green card holder, she is still a Filipino citizen. She does not hold an American passport (galing nung isang nagmamarunong sa bandang taas). A green card holder must establish permanent residency for 5 years in the USA before applying for citizenship in that country.
Depende sa Visa mo anon 2:29. I went to the US through a K1 Visa (Fiancee Visa). I got my green card 2 years after I arrived in the US and became an American Citizen 1.5 years after I received my GC. I did all the paperwork myself. Ditched my husband's attorney so we could save on legal fees so I know by heart what it takes to have a green card and the paperwork/legalities involved to become a US Citizen.
One minute she misses Paris and so proud of being Parisian... Now naman proud Pinay who has a green card. By the way since she's a UN ambassador... She carries a UN passport. Not even a Phil one.
Sarcasm my dear bec sa ig nya she claims to be manila-paris raised. And I have the same thoughts as you. 4 yrs of college education in Paris doesn't make one paris raised
Aside from beaches and tourist attractions, I feel na dapat ipromote din ang kulturang Pinoy, as in traditions unique to Pinoys. Very Americanized na kase sa Pinas sa halos lahat ng aspects, like food for example. Look at Thailand, Vietnam, Japan.. when I think of those places, I imagine their cuisine, traditional garb and dances, customs..
Therefore I conclude WALA kang iboboto at wala ka ring pagpipilian kasi walang magquaqualify sa criteria mo. Sige nga, give me a name na kilala at pasok sa criteria mo?
Mr. Gabby Concepcion acquired his US citizenship perhaps through marriage from his present wife who is a US citizen then he filed an immigrant petition for KC so that she too can acquire her US citizenship so that she can work here too and build her future if she prefers. But, she doesn't need to file to be a US citizen if she doesn't want to. She was born in the Philippines and that's her roots. And if she says she's a Filipina then let her be.
WRONG! BOTH OF YOU. She got her green card through her lifestyle (travelling a lot, UN ambassador, bank account). Gabby can't petition her since officially, she's a Pangilinan. Meaning, adopted sya ng stepdad nya!
VERY WRONG 11:48. si kc mismo nagsabi sa kris tv. di nga alam ni kris ang tungkol sa 'exceptional talent' visa na ibinibigay ng u.s.a. parang last year pa yun ng nag-guest siya sa kristv. alam ko, kasi fan ako ni kris at show nya.
Andaming ignorante dito! I dont like KC before pero nung napanood ko sya sa ilang episodes nya sa KrisTV at ilang interviews, i find her admireable naman pala because of her advocacy, tas napaka articulate at passionate sa ginagawa nya.
Oo nga, very articulate, polite and a good listener to the person they were interviewing. I don't know why Angeline Q. was invited to join them, all she did was listen to Kris & KC talking while she was busy eating and had nothing to say most of the time.
Arci, Angeline and Kris looks so much thinner next to her. It's in the genes that's why she looks so big on screen. Di bale maganda naman si KC, mukhang mabait at maraming charitable causes. 'Yon ang importante.
So yung mga di naman sa pinas pinanganak o kaya part filipino, kapag SUMIKAT, grabeng ANGKIB nyo na PINOY kahit na di marunong magtagalog, walang alam sa pinas or alam lang is adobo! KC is filipina and proud, why bash her and question her status?!
And fyi, even if you change your citizenship, your nationality/ethnicity will always be filipino!
Anon 6:04: your citizenship carries your nationality. Ethnicity is a different story. Filipinos can become US citizen but their ethnicity is still Asian. Ethnicity is more about your roots not your citizenship.
Fyi, in some forms, filipino is a separate ethnicity. I think asian is just a blanket ethnicity since it's so vast and long if you have to list it all out. Duh.
Whichever case it may be, no amount of paperwork or blond dye can erase someones filipino-ness. So I really dont get why KC is being bashed on being a green card holder. Why dont you bash those who would say that "oh i'm a mix of spanish, chinese, and filipino" when its so obvs that they're not with their nose as flat as a piyaya, eyes as round as a tarsier, and skin as dark as cocoa.
Ganyan dapat! Filipino pride, for the good & the bad. hehe! I'm a green card holder for more than 5 years now, but I won't ever apply for a US citizenship. I don't want to be an 'American' by any form, whether by nationality nor descent. Patriotic much??! hehe.
Di ba green card holder sya?
ReplyDeleteBaket porke ba green card holder di na pwede maging proud filipina????
DeleteU.S citizens ako and my daughter is American born.Proud KaminG Pinoy.
DeleteAmerican citizen na ibig sabihin
DeleteGreen card the next step would be citizenship.

Yung american citizen my american passport. Tsaka yung green card po passage po yan di citizenship.
DeletePwede namang green card holder sya pero pinoy parin

Signed,
Green Card holder turned citizen
She could be an American citizen coz of Gabby. I think he became an Anerican before she was 18.
DeleteIf she's a green a card holder it means she cannot stay longer than 6 months in the Philippines. If she stay longer in the Phil immigration will question her and might withdraw the visa. Anyhow what important is kahit anong citizen ang pilipino ay dapat pa rin ika-proud ang pinanggalingan.
DeleteJust a question, can she keep renewing her green card/visa even if she spends most of her time in the Philippines?

ReplyDeleteI'm not her fan but, i really like this kind of post. So patriotic.
ReplyDeleteKC is truly beautiful.

DeleteYou've never heard of nasa dugo yan wala sa kung anong dokumento.
DeleteSa El Nido kaya 'to? Last time I was there, one of the locals told me na KC bought a piece of land there.
ReplyDeleteBoracay daw, baks. Nandiyan na sa post niya o.
DeleteI dont know why some people bash her. She seems okay naman at madami syang charity works.
DeleteBecause she's annoying and narcissistic.
DeleteOo nga. American passport holder si KC. She is not a Filipina.
ReplyDeleteOnly American citizen can have the American passport. Even though she's a green card holder, her citizenship is still Filipino.
Deleteshe is a green card holder only. she just does not understand the difference between visa and passport. her knowledge about it is just way off.
