Then the brand (like the pillow, shirts) sells much much more than psy and otwol is tweeted more than psy. You see, although mas mababa yung ratings nang otwol its ability to create a buzz and sell is much greater...
dude, ratings don't determine the entire success of a show. there are other factors involved like timeslot, background and lifestyle of its viewers. fyi, otwols viewers transcends age, gender, socio-economic status, race, and geography. and most of these viewers are mature people, literally and figuratively speaking, who has a life beyond just sitting in front of a boob tube and rely for a free show. mind you, these people still religiously find a way to watch it in their own time in other avenues, even if they have to pay for it. why? because IT'S WORTH IT. walang tapon. grade A story. try watching it sans bitterness in your heart and without thinking of who's loveteam you ship, i'm sure you'll enjoy it too. may God bless you and fill your heart with love. :)

Yan ang problema sa ganyang loveteam na dadaanin sa pabebe at gimmick para manloko ng mga fans. Marami naman kasi ang kumagat sa pakulo ng ABSCBN at Viva

Deletethe way you speak, it just shows what a shallow person you are. seems you weren't able to grasp the totality of the story. it's a simple plot (which by the way one of the factors for its success), but i guess it was already "too deep" for you to comprehend. it's not a children's show nor a teen flick. it's a mature plot that tackles real life scenarios, conflicts in the real world of real, mature people (which does not involve violence, death defying stunts or out-of-this world twists). it's way beyond kissing. oh, there's nothing wrong with kissing. it's how you show love to your partner. but since it seems you have no idea of the story, let me inform you that the main characters here are MARRIED, MATURE, RESPONSIBLE WORKING INDIVIDUALS and not highschool students.

ReplyDeleteDue to technology, TV scheduled timeslot for a show is not everybody's only option anymore. We opt to watch via online like TFC.TV or iwanttv, conveniently at our own time. So basically, the TV rating of the show is not the only basis for success, it's the impact to most people matters. And with that, OTWOL deserves a standing ovation. Great teleserye! Kudos to all!
ReplyDeleteFyi, it was judy ann and robin who first had a live finale in philippine tv series, it was Basta't Kasama Kita in Luneta. Yes Marimar did, but kilig factor Jadine gave was superb on their live version.

Pati endorsements hakot dn cla, grabe! The sudden turn of events, underdogs lng cla pero look at them now. Other LT's need to level up. Lizquen could be the next since they're not stuck in pabebe unlike KN and AD.
