On that fateful day, Manzano and Locsin were supposed to watch a foreign movie. While waiting for Locsin, Manzano saw former girlfriend, Jennylyn Mercado, and her family. Presumably, they were going to watch the movie as well. Being polite and good-natured, Manzano greeted Mercado and her family. Then, he continued to talk with them, but mostly, he was talking to the mother of Mercado.
When Locsin arrived, she found out about the incident, but kept cool throughout the movie. After the movie, as the two made their way to their car, Locsin confronted Manzano and spewed quite a lot of words that hit the latter’s character. After the confrontation, Manzano decided to stay away from Locsin.
Sadly, it was too late when Locsin realized her mistake and that she had allowed jealousy to take over. She apologized and tried to win back Manzano, who no longer reciprocated the warmth. She would send food and show kind gestures, but Manzano opted to stay away. Even though Manzano is the love of her life, Locsin is still allegedly jealous of Mercado, who was Manzano’s girlfriend before they reconciled. Some even claimed that Manzano was still in Locsin’s heart after their first breakup and even if she was already with someone else.
Prior to their second breakup, the two were allegedly looking for a home and Manzano was feeling the pressure of settling down as well. As their post breakup scenario is still sensitive, most fans are hopeful that the two would still be able to iron out their issue and prove that there is such a thing called ‘forever.’

I don't think that is the reason. Heard luis gave her a mouthful of bad words about angel's family? Maybe this incident with jenny started it all but there were more hurtful words that came after this. of course we all don't know anything. sayang akala ko pa naman sa altar na ang ending. But many of us are still waiting na isang araw magkakabalikan ulit sila at tuloy kasal na. ang alam ko kasi mahal na mahal naman ni luis si angel and vice versa. sometimes pride gets in the way.

DeletePeople this isn't mababaw. Jealousy is a sign of insecurity and trust issues. Lalo na pag way out of line na ang pagseselos. Imagine, may boyfriend na yung pinagselosan niya. Tapos nanay naman pala ang kausap. Luis was raised to be a well-mannered, respectful gentleman. Hindi pwedeng hindi nya pansinin ang nanay ng babae na at some point sa buhay niya ay minahal nya at minahal sya. Kung sa ganito pa lang wala ng tiwala si Angel, paano pa kung mag-asawa na sila diba. Luis must have realized that this is one thing Angel is that he can't live with.

Ano un habang sila pa ni Phil mahal pa nya c Luis? Eto cguro reason Kaya super selos sya nung magkita ng di sinasadya Sa mall si Luis and Jennylyn with her family. Baka tamang hinala sya n baka may feelings pa si Luis Kay Jen palibhasa kasi gawain nya Kaya wala syang tiwala.
ReplyDeleteSocial and cultural background is also important in a relationship..Angel and Luis are not compatible in this aspect. Angel has lots of insecurities one, being a child out of wedlock (her mother is a helper of the Colmenares); her educational attainments is limited and even her language is kind of jologs compared to Luis who was brought up well be his parents. May be the incident was a wake up call for the guy..everybody wants a happy and harmonious relationship, you'll forever live a life of turmoil if the woman you love is like this, palengkera. Better end it now than suffer! Good luck to both, 'hope they find somebody who'll make them happy.

DeleteI felt bad when these two broke up. Luis was suggested to be the villain. I took this with a grain of salt. When I was working in TV, I found Luis as the most sensible, accommodating,articulate, and collected of all the stars I met. It was difficult to reconcile the villain image to this Luis I remembered. I do not think it is just this incident that broke them up. I think it is the last straw for him. Maybe healready had enough. I know how Angel feels. I was once like her - I, too, suffered a broken relationship because of how I behaved. It often comes from excessive self-confidence really, when you believe you are too valuable that you are indisposable.I understood too late that men observe unconsciously or consciously the girlfriends they want to marry. I think Luis got the scare of his life when he realised that Angel might be forever insecure and dealing with it will be his daily life when they get married. It takes superlove for a man to accept a woman despite her flaws. But this kind of love is also super rare. Good news is, Angel will find someone who will love her again. And hopefully, she learned her lesson so that this time, it will indeed end in forever. Just like I did:)

Hindi rin ako magsstay sa ganyang relasyon, hindi healthy eh. Mag jowa pa lang hindi na ko nirerespeto, paano pa kaya kung magasawa na.

ReplyDeleteYou could say na given her medical condition and the general uncertainty that comes along with it, she has become prey to all sorts of emotions, petty or otherwise. And this outburst might just be one of the many that they have to endure in the process, feeling ko na-cold feet si Luis as to how to put up with her moods and treat her during this time so he opted to stay away na lang and let her be.
