Maraming indigenous people ftom luzon to mindanao na very goodlooking..urban people in the phils. should open their hearts and minds to the plight of these neglected sector of our society, our government did little to help them..mostly only NGO's supported by foreign aid advocates for their claim to their ancestral land, ghey're deprived od education and livelihood program.

Despite the hard life in the mountains, i think it's still like an almost perfect life..no pollution, safe environment, intact cultural values, beautiful scenery and being with people that you love. Unlike in urban areas, there is chaos in everyday life if you belong to the under priviliged, too much pollution in the city, crimes, intrigues in workplace, hassle in transportation, high standard of living, living in squatters area although, there is easy access to everything like schools and opportunity for work it's still a cat and dog life..carrot man is better off than anyone of us, i don't want him to be jaded and corrupted by people who may want to use him for some u,terior motive. I hope some good samaritan will help the plight of the people in the cordilleras and the rest of the indigenous people in the philippines.

Madalas ako umakyat doon during my college days for my photo journ projects. At magaganda at gwapo talaga sila. Rosy cheeks, matangos ilong at maamo mga mata. Maganda rin body ng mga kalalakihan kahit matanda na dahil banat sa trabaho. Nakakatuwa si Carrot man, dahil sa edad nyang yan at sa panahon ngayon,ay intact pa din ang kultura nila sa kanya.

ReplyDeleteMaraming indigenous people ftom luzon to mindanao na very goodlooking..urban people in the phils. should open their hearts and minds to the plight of these neglected sector of our society, our government did little to help them..mostly only NGO's supported by foreign aid advocates for their claim to their ancestral land, ghey're deprived od education and livelihood program.

ReplyDeleteDespite the hard life in the mountains, i think it's still like an almost perfect life..no pollution, safe environment, intact cultural values, beautiful scenery and being with people that you love. Unlike in urban areas, there is chaos in everyday life if you belong to the under priviliged, too much pollution in the city, crimes, intrigues in workplace, hassle in transportation, high standard of living, living in squatters area although, there is easy access to everything like schools and opportunity for work it's still a cat and dog life..carrot man is better off than anyone of us, i don't want him to be jaded and corrupted by people who may want to use him for some u,terior motive. I hope some good samaritan will help the plight of the people in the cordilleras and the rest of the indigenous people in the philippines.
