Was Venus the winner of the pageant that year she joined??? Pia is the winner. That's the difference. She's given the exposures as decided by the Miss U organization.
Oh,for Pete's sake. She won the pageant, and part of her obligations when she won is to promote the organization by making her presence felt! For crying out loud, why else is Miss U the pageant of all pageants?

Nagkaroon din ng ganyang activities ang past winners. Di lang tayo masyadong aware kasi we didn't bother to follow them during their reign. Kebs ba natin sa non-Pinay winners.
