Hindi sa natatakot! Remember, not all people have the same religious beliefs. In the western countries, Both racism and gender discrimination is a big no no. Even bullying if I must say. Discrimination is discrimination!
Seriously racism is a no no?!punta ka ng europe te?baka kainin mo yang sinasabi mo..kahit maganda trabho mo mababa pa din tingin nila sa pilipino...big no no mo mukha mo.accept the fact!

Ignorant ang Pinoy when it comes to discrimination?
Baka maintindihan ko this time. Clothing sponsorship nga lang daw. How much dollars ka dyan. Gets mo nah? Gusto mo explain ko pa?

Lol dont tell me na mababa comprehension ko. You guys need to know the facts. 100mil dollars per year ang binabayad to manny just to wear those sponsored shirts. Stupidity at its finest.lol
Do you even watch the news? 2:33 is right according to the a veteran boxing analyst 100m pery year ang income of manny from nike. If you dont understand boxing sport you guys should know that once the boxer used a product in the ring he becomes a walking advetisement, which in this case pacman uses nike shoes in his matches. Thats why he has income from nike. Hahz nagsasalita lang kasi not knowing the facts! Just like ur idol then?hehehe
But next time choose your words wisely. Now it costs you Nike Sponsorship what's next? Your Next Fight?
Eye Opener din ito sa mga Pilipino. Iba ang Pilipas to the rest of the world. Some nations won't tolerate it.
I agree with you! Dito sa abroad, kahit anong bait mo at hardworking mo, once nag discriminate ka (gender man or color) dismissal agad sa trabaho makukuha mo.
1.56 be careful sa paggamit ng salitang discrimination dahil dito sa USA uso 'yan kahit hindi naman talaga discrimanation just to get some money.
Are you trying to make me laugh? The last time I checked, Nike's net worth is 28 BILLION dollars while Manny's is just over 300-400 MILLION dollars. Not even a quarter of what Nike earns!Equality is important to the people of Nike and if Manny can't provide that then they have all the rights to fire him.
He maybe lacks of knowledge but contributed so much to our history. Please, if you think you are educated, walk the talk.
Ignorant kasi ang Pilipino when it comes to Racism and Discrimination. Haha!
Now this, I knew na mangyayari 'to. Manny is an international figure. I wouldn't be surprise kung may mag-boycott ng next fight niya to think na sa US mangyayari yun. Oh well, Just be careful na lang next time...
Dahil ba slaves sila noon kaya di sila pwede kantiin while tayong mga pinoy pwede nila hamakin! Pwes hindi ubra yang hirit mo teh! Kahit saan bansa may namimintas at nanlalait.
The point is Kung sa ibang bansa nangyari 'to. You will lose your career/job.
1:40 -- So you're justifying your insults to other races, because they're doing it to us? Is that how it works? Really? Hindi ba pwedeng, wag nalang naten patulan and be better human beings by not doing the same thing? L O G I C!
1:40 -- So you're justifying your insults to other races, because they're doing it to us? Is that how it works? Really? Hindi ba pwedeng, wag nalang naten patulan and be better human beings by not doing the same thing? L O G I C!
Really Manny? Then why does your team keep on calling Nike apologizing and asking for another chance? Goodluck if there is any international brand out there who will take you in. Any company doesn't want to be affiliated with hate and bigotry. You should have seen it coming Manny.
And you think he didn't see this coming? If he reads the bible, which I think he does, he has been prepared for it for a very long time. He knows how much he can lose but is willing to lose it for God.
Wow! You should moonlight as a script writer sa Abs Cbn. Galing mong mag-imbento ng kwento. Lol! Sunod nyan mag-claim ka na you work for Nike or that you know someone who knows someone who knows Manny. Hahaha!
Well, I guess Nike is just taking care of its brand more than Manny. It's ok, hope Adidas gets him soon. Nike is such a let down lately anyway
To be honest anon 12:50 I've never seen Nike commercial with manny on it in American television... Did not know he was a Nike endorser until this issue....
all in the name of profit! bakit nga naman nila ie eliminate ang 3rd sex, ang laking kawalan din nun sa sales nila. sa ngalan talaga ng pera, maibebenta mo ang paniniwala at kaluluwa mo.
Anon 12:39 gender issues are not taken lightly here in the US. Parang black-listed si Manny ngayon by most companies because of what he said. Gsy pride is celebrated here, remember?
Guys basahin ang nasa taas. It was a clothing sponsorship daw hindi endorsement. So kelangan lang nya maghanap ng kung ano ang isusuot nya sa next and final fight nya cos i doubt nike will allow him to wear them for that.
Kabalbalan yang "I did not know manny was a nike endorser until this issue" mo teh. Manny even has it's own line/design and logo of sports tshirts and apparels in Nike shops internationally. Wag magimbento
He probably really believes all that but with his fame he's better off practicing a bit of tolerance too. Oh well his intl career will be done after this last fight. Sayang nga lang mawawala respeto sa kanya ng intl community over this.
7:15 I think naman for Manny mas nag mamatter sa kanya ngayon yung belief nya.
Its okay Manny. I condemn your first statement about same sex marriage, its really insensitive. On the other hand, I admire you for owning up to your mistake.
More like ayaw nila ma associate sa taong full of hate at bigot. Can you imagine. Why would you choose someone who sees you as lower than an animal to carry your brand.
What Manny does not realize is that he is the symbol of every Filipino worldwide. When you go to another country, they immediately say Pacquiao. Now, he has become a big symbol of intolerance and bigotry. Ugggh. What a way to leave a legacy. Sayang talaga.
Yes last few months nalang ng intl career nya. Idk who advises him on these things pero tsk hindi tinitignan ang bigger picture. I feel bad that at the end of his career ito lang matatandaan ng tao sa kanya.
Ok lang un. at least kay God favorable siya kasi he stands on his belief and faith to God Almighty! We're talking about eternity here with God
Sorry dear but no company will touch him. Corporations are in to diversity. Discrimination is not tolerated . Most organizations have made it as part of their core values.
If you will analyze it, he wasn't even discriminating LGBT. He just delivered it wrongly. He was against the act of allowing SSM (SSM, If we allow - then man is worst than animals), not the LGBT. That's how I understood it. The video was even cut, he said he isn't against LGBT, he is just against SSM.
Kasi po, malaking issue ang discrimination in the western country. Part of protocol sa work na once you discriminate, may it be by gender or color, dismissal agad katapat mo! Remember, everyone might have different religious belief but that doesn't mean that you can go and discriminate people for the love of your religion!
What Tiger did was more towards his personal life. Same as Kobe. I'm not excusing what they did, but Manny made a statement towards a group of people that affects a lot of people around the world. Discrimination is a no-no specially here in the Western world. That's something nobody tolerates. It is a big deal. You can believe whatever you want to believe and live your way that way, but it doesn't make it right for you to judge other ppl who are not like you or believe the same thing as you do.
Yan kAsi kapag more of an international level.
Yes to too yun,may posibilidad dw na ma disqualified sya pag di ma postpone yung fight this april 9.. Nako nako parang and daming hindi maganda mangyayari kai Manny ngayun ah. Abangan ang susunod na kabanata.
I fully understand where Manny comes from and his love for his religion. Everyone is allowed to speak their mind and stand on their belief but noone should ever be entitled to discriminate anyone , may it be by color or gender. I think that's what most people in the Philippines don't know. Most institutions/company in the Western world are against GENDER DISCRIMINATION AND RACISM. That's a protocol. Once you are proven guilty, the company has all the rights to dismiss you.
Stand with your religious belief, thats okay! Speak your mind, that's okay! What's not okay is discrimination and racism! Keep in mind that you can always state your opinion without mocking or putting anyone in a bad light. Be careful next time Manny. You're still a hero but for now, let's skip that.
He is a PR nightmare . I don't think any company will be willing to sacrifice their finances , Manny is just an endorser not the brand itself and he is not the only athlete in the planet that can endorse Nike. Therefore the company has more power than Manny. Manny lost his last fight , is an aging athlete. Gets niyo? What company in their right mind would support such ignorant bigot and accept poor sales due to public backlash. He is dispensable, that is the reality. The Pinoy is just a drop in their market, therefore sa mga kuda ng kuda diyang Pinoy Hindi Lang Kayo ang may buying capacity so kahit iboycott niyo yan, it really doesn't matter.
i bet manny is so appealing now to conservative Americans. Kala nyo agree buong United States sa same sex marriage? Kala nyo Lang yun. Even here in California Kung maglaho ang LA at San Francisco sa mapa ng US e mostly conservative ang rest ng cities dito sa Cali, problem is California legislators are playing politics and so liberal. #justsaying
@3:12 I so agree with you. I am one of those here in the US that isn't pro-same sex marriage. And I know a lot more that is not in favor of it. It may not be the popular opinion now because of liberalism and most members of the LGBT are working in mainstream media kaya they have all the means and the platform to spread their belief.
HILARIOUS! Nike is a global brand! They can get athletes like Lebron James, Kobe Bryant, Tiger Woods (even if they fired him already), and other BIGGER athletes than Pacquiao. They'll be fine without him.
Nike cares more about their regular customers. Business is business and they've have been around even BEFORE Manny became famous. Oo madami nang pera si Pacquiao ngayon, but it's the reputation that they care about.
Excuse sa iba, tama yan Manny, its better to loose an endorsement than to loose your faith.
It's not really looking good for him. Anyone can have their opinion, but when you word things the way he did...unfortunately sponsors are not so tolerant or forgiving. Reports say that him and his ppl were begging till last minute for him to not get dropped. That fell on deaf ears. He might not think it's a big deal, but when a huge sponsor like Nike drops you...others will follow. Adidas, Under Armour, etc...they're not gonna fall for him either. Why waste their resources and money on someone who's going out the door when they can give that money to someone else? It's business. It's also unfortunate because he's on the end of his career, there's no reason for them to keep him. Boxing is not as relevant anymore compared to UFC and MMA. Those are the real stars now. If I were him, I'd start saving some of my money and not have my wife waste it on designer bags so she can show it off on IG with matching bible verse of the day.
Discrimination is discrimination....the golden rule " do not do unto others what u dont want others do unto u" kaya nga golden rule...dont take the passages line by line ..read the bible from cover to cover to understand it...
its ok Lang yan manny si Stephen curry before Siya magunder armor I offer din ng Nike pero the truth Hindi niya tinagap because what he stand in lgbt tinagap niya ang under armor dahil same stand sila...and problem pa sa video Hindi pinakita yun buo of course magreact ang lgbt community
nike has no bearing on pacman anymore, all they do now a days is supply him with shoes and gear..they've already paid him handsomely during the time pacman still was under contract with him...sheesh..people..it's not like manny's a shareholder of nike corp..he's an athlete and like all athletes they have their own contracts and pacman's contract ends after his fights..each and every time...and / or during commercial shoots.. use your head..business 101.
Milyones? Sponsorship lang, teh, hindi endorsement. Know the difference.
Now goodbye nike, tomorow goodbye boxing career...
Mag apologize man sya mahirap talaga ipaintindi hindi talaga nila alam. Humingi na sya ng kapatawaran pero anong ginawa nila VG at Boy Abunda and the rest of them. You're looking for respect? Pag ganitong sitwasyon act with GRACE nang saganon respituhin kayo ng iba. Look how VG and BA acted. #MegaBULLY Tsk!

ReplyDeleteAre you trying to make me laugh? The last time I checked, Nike's net worth is 28 BILLION dollars while Manny's is just over 300-400 MILLION dollars. Not even a quarter of what Nike earns!Equality is important to the people of Nike and if Manny can't provide that then they have all the rights to fire him.
DeleteHaha. Nike is a $30billion-worth company. I don't think he can afford it. haha!
Delete1:51 NIKE PROMOTES EQUALITY??? LOL KUMUSTA NAMAN ANG CHILD LABOR??? Makapagmalinis ang nike kala mo walang kapintasan.
Deletemasyado kang bilib sa idol mo...
DeleteHahaha!!! Ganyan Kana ba kabilib sa idol mu?! Hindi pa ganyan kayaman idol mu!
DeleteHahaha baliwag lang teh?
DeleteWala nang career si pacman after his last fight!
He is a disgrace!
He maybe lacks of knowledge but contributed so much to our history. Please, if you think you are educated, walk the talk.
DeleteIgnorant kasi ang Pilipino when it comes to Racism and Discrimination. Haha!
ReplyDeleteNow this, I knew na mangyayari 'to. Manny is an international figure. I wouldn't be surprise kung may mag-boycott ng next fight niya to think na sa US mangyayari yun. Oh well, Just be careful na lang next time...
Dahil ba slaves sila noon kaya di sila pwede kantiin while tayong mga pinoy pwede nila hamakin! Pwes hindi ubra yang hirit mo teh! Kahit saan bansa may namimintas at nanlalait.
DeleteThe point is Kung sa ibang bansa nangyari 'to. You will lose your career/job.
@1:40, kinda sounds like vice d ba? sya pede manglait ng todo todo pero when the tables are turned, grabe na kung makaalma
Delete1:40 -- So you're justifying your insults to other races, because they're doing it to us? Is that how it works? Really? Hindi ba pwedeng, wag nalang naten patulan and be better human beings by not doing the same thing? L O G I C!
Delete1:40 -- So you're justifying your insults to other races, because they're doing it to us? Is that how it works? Really? Hindi ba pwedeng, wag nalang naten patulan and be better human beings by not doing the same thing? L O G I C!
DeleteSigh... roll eyes at Anon 1:40
DeleteThere are even some businesses in the States that do not allow Filipinos, Vietnamese, etc. inside. Sad, but true.
Trust me.
ReplyDeleteAdidas and Puma FTW...Heheh
DeleteAdidas is pro LGBT just so you know.
Lahat ng multi-national companies aware diyan and won't tolerate anyone doing it.
DeleteFYI,Adidas supports the LGBT and they are against any form of racism.
DeleteHaler?
DeleteIsusuka ka sya ng adidas!
Duh mas malaki back up ni manny c God.
Syempre. Alangan namang magwala siya LOL
ReplyDeleteReally Manny? Then why does your team keep on calling Nike apologizing and asking for another chance? Goodluck if there is any international brand out there who will take you in. Any company doesn't want to be affiliated with hate and bigotry. You should have seen it coming Manny.
ReplyDeleteAnd you think he didn't see this coming? If he reads the bible, which I think he does, he has been prepared for it for a very long time. He knows how much he can lose but is willing to lose it for God.
Deleteohhhhh.. talking like an insider?! pano mo naman mapo prove that manny's team did that?! kuda pa!!
DeleteProof please. Thank you!
DeleteWow! You should moonlight as a script writer sa Abs Cbn. Galing mong mag-imbento ng kwento. Lol! Sunod nyan mag-claim ka na you work for Nike or that you know someone who knows someone who knows Manny. Hahaha!
DeleteOoh talaga? Interesting....
Well, I guess Nike is just taking care of its brand more than Manny. It's ok, hope Adidas gets him soon. Nike is such a let down lately anyway
ReplyDeletei hate to tell you this pero no US brand will take manny at this moment.
DeleteI don't think Adidas is that desperate to take Manny as their endorser.
DeleteTotoo. Mas mraming brand ang maganda kesa Nike.
DeleteTo be honest anon 12:50 I've never seen Nike commercial with manny on it in American television... Did not know he was a Nike endorser until this issue....
DeleteI HIGHLY DOUBT ADIDAS will take him. Just check our their V-DAY advertisement..
DeleteNope! Adidas is against gender discrimination. They even have photos on their account showing that love doesn't choose gender.
Deleteall in the name of profit! bakit nga naman nila ie eliminate ang 3rd sex, ang laking kawalan din nun sa sales nila. sa ngalan talaga ng pera, maibebenta mo ang paniniwala at kaluluwa mo.
DeleteAnon 12:39 gender issues are not taken lightly here in the US. Parang black-listed si Manny ngayon by most companies because of what he said. Gsy pride is celebrated here, remember?
DeleteGuys basahin ang nasa taas. It was a clothing sponsorship daw hindi endorsement. So kelangan lang nya maghanap ng kung ano ang isusuot nya sa next and final fight nya cos i doubt nike will allow him to wear them for that.
DeleteKabalbalan yang "I did not know manny was a nike endorser until this issue" mo teh. Manny even has it's own line/design and logo of sports tshirts and apparels in Nike shops internationally. Wag magimbento
Delete12:57 Manny did not endorse Nike. They just sponsor his fights with apparels.
Delete5:43 Paalala ko lang syo kasi kanina ka pa U.S ng U.S.
DeleteHindi U.S. ang Pinas ok? Iba dyan, iba dito! Kaloka ka atey!
bitter!
He probably really believes all that but with his fame he's better off practicing a bit of tolerance too. Oh well his intl career will be done after this last fight. Sayang nga lang mawawala respeto sa kanya ng intl community over this.
Delete7:15 I think naman for Manny mas nag mamatter sa kanya ngayon yung belief nya.
DeleteIts okay Manny. I condemn your first statement about same sex marriage, its really insensitive. On the other hand, I admire you for owning up to your mistake.
ReplyDeleteMore like ayaw nila ma associate sa taong full of hate at bigot. Can you imagine. Why would you choose someone who sees you as lower than an animal to carry your brand.
DeleteWhat Manny does not realize is that he is the symbol of every Filipino worldwide. When you go to another country, they immediately say Pacquiao. Now, he has become a big symbol of intolerance and bigotry. Ugggh. What a way to leave a legacy. Sayang talaga.
DeleteYes last few months nalang ng intl career nya. Idk who advises him on these things pero tsk hindi tinitignan ang bigger picture. I feel bad that at the end of his career ito lang matatandaan ng tao sa kanya.
DeleteOk lang un. at least kay God favorable siya kasi he stands on his belief and faith to God Almighty! We're talking about eternity here with God
DeleteI hope Fila will get him. That's what my brother uses.
ReplyDeleteSorry dear but no company will touch him. Corporations are in to diversity. Discrimination is not tolerated . Most organizations have made it as part of their core values.
DeleteIf you will analyze it, he wasn't even discriminating LGBT. He just delivered it wrongly. He was against the act of allowing SSM (SSM, If we allow - then man is worst than animals), not the LGBT. That's how I understood it. The video was even cut, he said he isn't against LGBT, he is just against SSM.
ReplyDeleteKasi po, malaking issue ang discrimination in the western country. Part of protocol sa work na once you discriminate, may it be by gender or color, dismissal agad katapat mo! Remember, everyone might have different religious belief but that doesn't mean that you can go and discriminate people for the love of your religion!
DeleteBecause they did not make any stupid comments like manny did? hahahahahaha.
DeleteWhat Tiger did was more towards his personal life.
DeleteBecause people are selective sa kung anong mali ang pupunahin. Multiple standards.
Go manny!
DeleteTama! Dami pang ibang brand dyan..mas mura at matibay din.
DeleteI like Manny. Not perfect but but this guy has great convictions.
ReplyDeleteUnder armour na yan haha
ReplyDeleteBYE NIKE!
ReplyDeleteFyi Adidas is not a US brand.
ReplyDeleteAy OO nga.Sorry. Just Googled "Adidas". They have statement "against Homophobic comments". So yeah. You can say goodbye to Manny for adidas now. haha.
Delete- Anon 12:50
It's China brand!
ReplyDeletekaloka to! haha
Deletehindi lang Nike. Most companies are earning a big deal because of LGBT. period! don't be an A-hole!
Deletehahaha benta to!
Deletemarami lang talagang mabilis maoffend ngayon. maraming sensitive.
ReplyDeleteIt's not about being sensitive. It's DISCRIMINATION.
Deleteit's not that. you need to be politically correct nowadays otherwise libel ang aabutin mo specially in the US.
Pwe!
ReplyDeleteHindi kawalan? Ay? Mag-isip ka muna.
DeleteOA ng nike!
ReplyDeleteYan kAsi kapag more of an international level.
DeleteAno naman itong balita na he would be disqualified sa elections if he does not postpone his coming boxing fight? When it rains it pours.
ReplyDeletekarma karma lang yan. actually nung 2012 may ganyang nangyari din sa US na nawalan siya ng endoresement because of his anti gay remarks. hindi na natuto!
DeleteYes to too yun,may posibilidad dw na ma disqualified sya pag di ma postpone yung fight this april 9.. Nako nako parang and daming hindi maganda mangyayari kai Manny ngayun ah. Abangan ang susunod na kabanata.
DeleteI fully understand where Manny comes from and his love for his religion.
ReplyDeleteStand with your religious belief, thats okay!
ReplyDeletei bet manny is so appealing now to conservative Americans. Kala nyo agree buong United States sa same sex marriage? Kala nyo Lang yun. Even here in California Kung maglaho ang LA at San Francisco sa mapa ng US e mostly conservative ang rest ng cities dito sa Cali, problem is California legislators are playing politics and so liberal. #justsaying
ReplyDelete@3:12 I so agree with you. I am one of those here in the US that isn't pro-same sex marriage. And I know a lot more that is not in favor of it. It may not be the popular opinion now because of liberalism and most members of the LGBT are working in mainstream media kaya they have all the means and the platform to spread their belief.
DeleteCount me in! But i love them as individual wag lang ssm.
Deleteeither you love the world or you love God and kudos to you Manny for choosing God over wordly things
ReplyDeleteMaling mali yung choice of words mo manny pero i admire you for standing for what u believe. Malalagpasan mo din yan. God bless you.
ReplyDeleteNot bothered? Talaga? Kaya pala hinabol pa last minute para ma reconsider na wag tanggalin yung contract? What a hypocrite!
DeleteHILARIOUS! Nike is a global brand! They can get athletes like Lebron James, Kobe Bryant, Tiger Woods (even if they fired him already), and other BIGGER athletes than Pacquiao. They'll be fine without him.
ReplyDeleteNike cares more about their regular customers. Business is business and they've have been around even BEFORE Manny became famous. Oo madami nang pera si Pacquiao ngayon, but it's the reputation that they care about.
No Nike for me ever again!
Excuse sa iba, tama yan Manny, its better to loose an endorsement than to loose your faith.
ReplyDeleteIt's not really looking good for him.
ReplyDeleteDiscrimination is discrimination....the golden rule " do not do unto others what u dont want others do unto u" kaya nga golden rule...dont take the passages line by line ..read the bible from cover to cover to understand it...
ReplyDeleteIf you actually read the bible, you'd know it was actually "do unto others what you want others to do unto you"
DeletePeople are by nature filled with pride kaya ayaw na sinasabihan ng truth abt their sins. The truly God-changed, humble person desires correction.
Anon 3:05 PM
DeleteYour point is irrelevant. Not everyone is christian and not everybody follows the Bible.
It should be relevant to 7:14 am who makes it seem like s/he has read the bible, based on her comment.
DeleteIt is your comment, 10:49, thag is irrelevant to this particular thread.
its ok Lang yan manny si Stephen curry before Siya magunder armor I offer din ng Nike pero the truth Hindi niya tinagap because what he stand in lgbt tinagap niya ang under armor dahil same stand sila...and problem pa sa video Hindi pinakita yun buo of course magreact ang lgbt community
ReplyDeleteAs if . sino ka bang pakyaw ka. Matalo ka sana
ReplyDeletenike has no bearing on pacman anymore, all they do now a days is supply him with shoes and gear..they've already paid him handsomely during the time pacman still was under contract with him...sheesh..people..it's not like manny's a shareholder of nike corp..he's an athlete and like all athletes they have their own contracts and pacman's contract ends after his fights..each and every time...and / or during commercial shoots.. use your head..business 101.
It's time to buy a new one sa Adidas hehe.
ReplyDeleteMilyones? Sponsorship lang, teh, hindi endorsement. Know the difference.
Now goodbye nike, tomorow goodbye boxing career...
Mag apologize man sya mahirap talaga ipaintindi hindi talaga nila alam. Humingi na sya ng kapatawaran pero anong ginawa nila VG at Boy Abunda and the rest of them. You're looking for respect? Pag ganitong sitwasyon act with GRACE nang saganon respituhin kayo ng iba.
ReplyDeleteLook how VG and BA acted. #MegaBULLY Tsk!
OA na ang ibang LGBT!
Deletehow ironic naman nagmamalinis tong nike na to eh kung makagamit ng child labour sa third world countries wagas!!! aarte nyo you know manny is bisaya kaya hindi nya ma express ng maganda ang thoughts nya oa naman mga to
ReplyDelete
