ReplyDeleteMabigat ang darating na wakas....thats why Jesus said I didnt bring peace but a sword. Fathers would be against their son, brothers against brothers. Like yung nangyare sa golden calf where in pinatay ng mga Levites ang mga relatives nila coz they REBEL against the Lord. In the last days people would have to choose for themselves hindi nila masesave ang mga magulang, kapatid, asawa, anak nila but only themselves. It depends kung ano pipiliin ng mga mahal nila sa buhay.... and yung alam niyong pagmamahal niyo sa isat isa will not save you or them. People should realize that God is a HOLY GOD and Jesus is the only way para maaccept niya kayo! Now if you dont know what it means or cannot comprehend HOLY eh read the Bible.

I think the reaction was more emotional than spiritual because of her sibling. She knows what gays go through in life so she feels their pain and has compassion towards them. But I think first of all she missed the meaning of Pacquiao's statement regarding the act, resulting from same-sex marriage. He has mentioned previously that he has relatives who are gay, and he has never said he dislikes them. The question was about same-sex marriage, not homosexuality. So many people have missed the point, it was not an attack against people, it was his view on marriage between two people of the same gender. Even in the LGBT community there are mixed opinions regarding this.

Keri naman na maging against sa same sex relationships/marriage eh but sana wag naman icondemn sila. It really is heartbreaking reading comments mentioning God and the Bible but also spewing out hurtful and hateful words towards homosexuals in the same sentence. Nakakalungkot.

But the reason we react against the issues of homosexuality the way we do is because sexuality is sacred too and we cannot violate it. The question is: How can we treat one sacred and desecrate the other???
ReplyDeleteIt is God's plan when he said " It is not good for a man to live alone" God created the mystique, the charm, the majesty and the complimentary nature of womankind in a way that made it possible for her to meet his emotional needs that God himself put only in her.
But the Bible commands us to love even those whom we disagree. Responsibility of the church is never to hate the individual, our privilege is to love and only God can change the heart of the person and He is the ultimate judge.
