Narevive ang interest ko sa KS except for one issue: ginawang katatawanan ang pagpikit pikit ni Anselmo. He has tics or some related disorder. And it's in bad taste to make fun of his condition. KS should be more sensitive as they're teaching wrong values to their audience.
This is a bit worrying. Kalyeserye should be very careful with these things especially because it was given recognition in promoting good Filipino values. They have children watching, so they should be more responsible in what they show in the segment. We must all move away from thinking that people with special needs or disorders are inferior.

They were definitely tickled to see the Alden appear different from his usual immaculate self. I laughed because I was amused pero that doesn't make me bad, because I was raised properly. We're all - well, most of us - grownups here. Now if you're a parent, it's your responsibility to explain and teach your kids.
If you have a loved one with eye tics, you will understand why it's not acceptable to make fun of them. Anselmo's tics do not have any bearing on the story. Those are just for laughs.

I'm so happy with this storyline, talagang nagtweet ako last week sa EB requesting for the Anselmo storyline with A and M portraying young Anselmo and Nidora respectively.
When ADN expcted that Divina will deliver her second condition, the writers thought of a different path & it resulted to positive reviews from the viewers.

Halos isang linggo na rin ng sumlpot ulit yung Diary at nagre-reminisce si Lola Nidora about Anselmo, kasi to pave way for this Anselmo-Nidora arc. Sa tingin mo, bakit yung mga manliligaw ni Nidora nung Tamang Panahon, si Anselmo lang ang kamukha ni Alden? Advanced sila, they have to be. I'm pretty sure they have lots of cards up their sleeve. But Kalyeserye is not perfect, so they need to tie up some loose ends. But that is what we all love about it, hindi cya perfect pero we can get lost in the story and the actors.

I loved the episode earlier. Pati yung panel, halatang nag-eenjoy din sa kwento. The premise and story of Kalyeserye has sooo much potential which Jenny Ferre and the other KS writers are finally tapping into. Looking forward to this arc! Tama na yung third parties please.

After watching this episode of Kalyeserye and the pilot episode of That's My Amboy, ang nasabi ko nalang hindi lang "fighting chance" ang meron ang GMA ngayon. I won't wonder if one of these days they'll slay the ratings game even sa primetime. Some people might say na I'm exaggerating, I don't know about other people but this is what I call good TV. Way beyond kilig, there's innovation and creativity. With TMA what I saw is potential. With Kalyeserye, I won't say that they are back because they never left in the first place. There was a plateau, a stability i would say, which happens to anything na nakakarating sa taas but something in my gut tells me that Tamang Panahon is just a peek to something bigger. Yan yung aabangan ko. Alden and Maine, along with JoWaPao and Eat Bulaga, are off to greater heights. Now we call it a phenomenon but soon it will be more like a miracle. Can't wait to witness that but more than anything, I'll support not just the underdogs but those who play fair and have the sincerest hearts to make their viewers happy.
Love your comment.. Same sentiments here this is the time that GMA should focus on bringing QUALITY shows. We the viewers ourselves will be the judge that HYPE are not always GOOD. There are those that are much better.

I totally agree... especially with the words good TV, innovation / creativity, stability, play fair, sincerest hearts - my sentiments exactly! Ratings do matter and advertisers are needed by all shows, but these are the result of satisfied viewers, not the main goal of any good show.
AlDub fan ako pero sa totoo lang nabobore na ako nung mga nagdaang linggo. Kung hindi lang nakakakilig ang aldub eh hahaha pero yung akala mo wala nang storya ang KS masyado then this happened. Ito talaga ang secret weapon ng EB, yung creative team nila!

Ito ang maganda sa EB. They do their thing, they accept feedbacks, they listen to their audience, they reinvent and experiment, and the cycle continues. Sobrang funny ng episode kahapon! Sana magtuloy tuloy buong week. Kudos EB!
Yes, they have the humility to accept constructive criticism and the teachability that enables them to improve. They do not rest on their laurels and allow complacency in their team. Three decades of EB have proven this attitude. And the senior members are not intimidated by the popularity of the younger ones. It is really a family show - the cast and crew of the show share in the success. Nakakatawa ang episode na ito. Much improvement from the tepid storyline of late. Kapag ang spotlight nasa jowapao at naka-support lang ang aldub, yun ang pinakanakakatawa, kahit dati pa. Nung puro alden at yaya, medyo lumaylay.

Real fans of EB will totally get this. Masaya ang mga nadadagdag na host sa EB over the years, pero episodes like this remind us of why EB has managed to stay on top. Talented ang mga host dito. While Alden and Maine are their stars now, they are still learning. Huwag sana nakatutok ang spotlight lagi sa kanila. Balanse lang kumbaga.

This can be a long arc and I don't think people will mind. There's a lot of possibilities in this story. But knowing that Anselmo and Nidora didn't end up together, it is kind of sad.

DeleteAfter watching this episode of Kalyeserye and the pilot episode of That's My Amboy, ang nasabi ko nalang hindi lang "fighting chance" ang meron ang GMA ngayon. I won't wonder if one of these days they'll slay the ratings game even sa primetime. Some people might say na I'm exaggerating, I don't know about other people but this is what I call good TV. Way beyond kilig, there's innovation and creativity. With TMA what I saw is potential. With Kalyeserye, I won't say that they are back because they never left in the first place. There was a plateau, a stability i would say, which happens to anything na nakakarating sa taas but something in my gut tells me that Tamang Panahon is just a peek to something bigger. Yan yung aabangan ko. Alden and Maine, along with JoWaPao and Eat Bulaga, are off to greater heights. Now we call it a phenomenon but soon it will be more like a miracle. Can't wait to witness that but more than anything, I'll support not just the underdogs but those who play fair and have the sincerest hearts to make their viewers happy.

Three decades of EB have proven this attitude. And the senior members are not intimidated by the popularity of the younger ones. It is really a family show - the cast and crew of the show share in the success. The viewers commend not just those in front of the camera but also those working behind the scene(s). it is a T E A M - Together Everyone Achieves More!

DeleteNakakatawa ang episode na ito. Much improvement from the tepid storyline of late. Kapag ang spotlight nasa jowapao at naka-support lang ang aldub, yun ang pinakanakakatawa, kahit dati pa. Nung puro alden at yaya, medyo lumaylay.

It's high time to turn another page sa story nila, episodes as boyfriend-girfriend, or marriage, or outside stories where they react or issues to solve. O di kaya ito na tuonan natin ng story si Lola Nidora to better understand her.

DeleteReal fans of EB will totally get this. Masaya ang mga nadadagdag na host sa EB over the years, pero episodes like this remind us of why EB has managed to stay on top. Talented ang mga host dito. While Alden and Maine are their stars now, they are still learning. Huwag sana nakatutok ang spotlight lagi sa kanila. Balanse lang kumbaga.
