Hindi po kami nanunuod ng movie para mag-critique. Hindi naman namin trabaho yan. Ang gusto namin, sumaya at masulit ang perang ibinayad namin. Kung gusto mo manuod ng iba, eh di gowww!!! Susme.
But for the longest time, the filmfest never had a quality movie.I know coz I always watch at least 4 MMFF movies every year just to kill time. It has been a battle on the most entertaining/ high grossing film, ALDUB entertains a lot of people now so its no surprise thay they will dominate. Most of the Filipino movies now are created just to entertain, you can only find good quality Filipino movies in Cinemalaya not in filmfest. I watched MBL, will probably watch 3 more in the coming days. But MBL quality is just like Praybeyt Benjamin 2, you'll just watch it to be entertained nothing more than that...
We want to watch MBL because 1. we love ALDUB and Bossing 2. we want to be entertained and kiligin 3. we are Aldub Nation citizens and lastly, kung gusto ko ng quality movies, wala ni isa sa mga entries ng MMFF ang panonoorin ko(sorry to be blunt). For me kasi, support all the films nalang kasi yan naman talaga ang main goal ng mmff eh, to appreciate our film industry. Kasi nasa tao naman kung ano gusto nilang panoorin. It's the preference of the people.. and I beleive most aldub fans watched MBL and other films as well.. people nowadays tend to act as if they are film critique and act as if they are better than those watching other film that they think are not of "good quality" but they forgot that we also need this kind of movie a feel good kind of movie that teaches family values... so all in all we need to respect everyones preference.

Basta ang alam ko, eto yung pinakamatinong movie ni bossing sa mmff, yung mga critique naman is subjective to one's taste (yung iba, "IBA" either binabayaran or sariling critique lang nila). Kung pagbabasehan mo lang yung quality ng mismong movie based sa critique ng iba, sa tingin mo intelligent ka na? Ang matalinong tao ijujudge niya ang isang bagay base sa nakita niya, lalo na pagdating sa pelikula. So kung ifofollow mo yang prinsipyo mo, dapat panoorin mo lahat ng pelikulang nasa MMFF.
Wag mong ibase sa "critics" kung anong gusto mong panoorin, ibase mo yan sa gusto mong genre. Hindi ka nagmumukang matalino sa pinagsasabi mo, nagmumuka kang ampalaya.

Filmfest kasi to, teh. Dapat ang piniprioritize sa film fest, mga may substance at high-quality. Movies like batb and mbl (mga feel good na di masyadong substantial at mediocre quality), kikita kahit may kasabay na hollywood movies. Their presence in filmfest defeats the purpose of having a filmfest. Not the audience fault. Im just pointing out the flaws sa mmff year after year.
I see pictures and news about people lining up to watch this movie already showed how it will come out. You can't deny the long lines at the cinemas all over the country which cannot be seen with the other movies. It only showed how this Aldub fandom showed their support.

DeleteBut for the longest time, the filmfest never had a quality movie.I know coz I always watch at least 4 MMFF movies every year just to kill time. It has been a battle on the most entertaining/ high grossing film, ALDUB entertains a lot of people now so its no surprise thay they will dominate. Most of the Filipino movies now are created just to entertain, you can only find good quality Filipino movies in Cinemalaya not in filmfest. I watched MBL, will probably watch 3 more in the coming days. But MBL quality is just like Praybeyt Benjamin 2, you'll just watch it to be entertained nothing more than that...

DeleteFilmfest kasi to, teh. Dapat ang piniprioritize sa film fest, mga may substance at high-quality. Movies like batb and mbl (mga feel good na di masyadong substantial at mediocre quality), kikita kahit may kasabay na hollywood movies. Their presence in filmfest defeats the purpose of having a filmfest. Not the audience fault. Im just pointing out the flaws sa mmff year after year.

ReplyDeleteAng babaw ng alibi ng MMFF na gustong protektahan ang ibang entries kaya hindi naglalabas ang box office results! Kung proteksyon talaga ang totoong dahilan dapat mga pirated copies ang bantayan nila! Madidiktahan ba nila ang moviegoers kung anong gustong panoorin, ke maglabas o hindi sila maglabas ng resulta sa takilya? Baka iba ang pinu-protektahan nila para hindi mapahiya! Bakit ngayong taon lang? Bakit nung mga nakaraang taon first day pa lang nilalabas nyo na ang kita ng mga nangungunang pelikula? Bakeeet???
