Ang daming artista ang nangarap at naghintay ng matagal magkaron lang ng acting award pero ikaw in just a span of 5 months, ayan agad. Sana mas mamotivate ka pa na galingan ang ginagawa mo kasi may kalalagyan ka talaga sa showbiz. ReplyDeleteReally?! Congrats Meng. I only watched MBL so diko sure ung ibang nominees. Nonetheless I was pleasantly surprised sa Anna character nya, ibang-iba kay yaya. And the way she delivers her lines pwede rin syang maging effective na kontrabida.

ReplyDeleteKung sa pagkanta hindi basehan ang pagbirit para masabing magaling ka, sa aktingan hindi din basehan ang baldeng luha para masabing deserving ka. Minsan nasa comedy, nasa timing, nasa pagbitaw ng linya, nasa expression ng mata. Para sa isang baguhan at walang workshop na pinagdaanan, Meng magaling ka. Congratulations! Ang daming artista ang nangarap at naghintay ng matagal magkaron lang ng acting award pero ikaw in just a span of 5 months, ayan agad. Sana mas mamotivate ka pa na galingan ang ginagawa mo kasi may kalalagyan ka talaga sa showbiz. Yung self doubt mo sana mawala na kasi ayan na, siksik liglig at umaapaw na ang pruweba na kaya mo, na magaling ka. :) Nasa likod mo lang si Lord at ang buong AlDub Nation. Gusto ko sabihing swerte ka pero ang totoo, binebless lang talaga ni Lord yung mga taong busilak ang puso. Yun ang meron ka. :) Looking forward to your future projects, Maine. We love you!

I love this girl and congratulations! But to be honest upon watching almost all of the movies there are people much deserving. It is sad that efforts of Meryll Soriano was snobbed by the MMFF if you watched honor thy father you will know what i mean. Also Iza Calzados performance was quite good. Sana lang sa kanila binigay and considering maine's contribution to MMFF she should have been given a new comer award, para kasing masabi lang and merong controversy. #MMFFtrashAWARDgivingBODY

I am amazed on how you and Alden played Anna and Dondi. Very different from your KS Alden and Yaya roles, pero the chemistry was still undeniably strong. Alden was undoubtedly the most versatile actor of his generation. Ang galing na rin ng comedic timing niya.
This only proves that both of you has greater opportunities outside KalyeSerye. Na hindi lang kayo hanggang sa pabebe. I can't wait for your future projects that will further showcase your capabilities.

ReplyDeleteGanito kasi yan, napanood niyo na ba lahat ng movies? Nakita niyo performance nung iba? Kung di pa, eh di quiet na lang. Hirap kasi sa mga tao, luto pag di nila bet ang nanalo. Di porket comedy ang My Bebe Love eh wala nang karapatan manalo ang pelikulang eto o sino mang artista dito. If she was given a role na spoiled sosyal kid at nagampanan niya ng maayos pati yung pagpapakilig, if naging natural ang pagganap niya sa role, eh di deserve niya. Beterana mga nakalaban niya, pero kung obvious na inaakting lang yung roles, eh di hindi convincing. Ask yourself how do you define "best supoorting actress". Wala pa kong napapanood na MMFF movie kaya i can't confirm if deserve niya. Pero can't we just be happy for all the winners?

ReplyDeleteI like Maine pero natalo nya ang mga actresses sa Honor Thy Father sa acting-an? Tignan nyo naman ang Best Supporting Actor is Tirso Cruz III. Don't tell me magka-level na sila sa acting. Ang judges dapat ay parang Oscars, mga past winners/actors/actresses ang nagjujudge sa mga peers nila.

Sa mga nagsasabing rip Philippine movies, kanya-kanyang trip iyan, support what you love. Nanuod ako ng MBL, WF, at MBL ulit kanina. Mamaya HTF naman tapos sa Wed MBL ulit. Paano tayo talo doon eh kikita ang mga tao, may mga trabaho ang nasa industriya.
Anyone here a Maine fan naman but find this kind of... unfair? Idk. Wag niyo sana sabihin na "fake fan" ako or posing as a fan lang pero nega pa rin ang comment. I just think someone else should have won! Oh well! Congrats Meng! So many achievements in such a short amount of time!
