Losing the Confrontation

Most often, honesty comes at a price in showbiz. When actors are pressed to share their stories, some interviewers will not allow general answers to remain ambiguous. Hence, some actors are cornered to reveal more than what they should and what has been said and heard could no longer be unsaid and unheard.

When Revealing Actress (RA) was interviewed, people who witnessed and read about the interview were shocked and amused at the stories she claimed to be true. While none of the revealed names reacted in print, other personalities were suddenly caught in the web RA wove. Unfortunately, Feisty Celebrity (FC) was among those being dragged in RA’s revelations.

As other interviewers picked up the details of RA’s interview, they then dared ask FC her thoughts on the details revealed by RA. Most, of course, were curious if FC could verify what RA said about Hunk Talent (HT). Given her prim and proper image, such questions were offending to FC and if she dignifies such questions, then it would be like her confirming the level of her relationship with HT.

Feeling irritated at the implications of the stories of RA and being dragged in the web, FC approached a Powerful Personality (PP) to confide all her apprehensions at the tactless and thoughtless behavior of RA. FC said that she was not comfortable with RA and if possible can she not be given projects. PP then told Higher Boss (HB) of how FC felt towards RA. HB then told RA the thoughts of FC, but RA told her side.

The story did not stop there as HB confronted FC. After all, it seemed that FC was dictating what to do. Sometimes HB can be aggressive and FC felt the brunt of it. During their confrontation, HB said that whatever RA did was part of the job. Surprisingly, HB then cancelled the project of FC and said that RA will continue with hers. Thus, FC lost this round to RA. As for RA, while she did reveal much about her fellow talents, some people felt that she did not respect the reputation her parents have built in their years of working in the business.
