1:25 Nung wala pa Forevermore I was making fun of my sister. Ang hot daw ni Enrique lalo 'pag sumayaw. Sabi ko puro angas at kapogian lang. Nganga ako sa kanya sa Forevermore, girl. Hehe. The way he morphs effortlessly into his character? I turned into a fan. Pareho sila ni Liza sa depth in acting. Bonus na lang talaga yung Hollywood-ish looks nila. :)
I met Enrique as well at a resto with his whole family. Ang daming nag aabang mag papic sa kanya, including us in the nearby table and siya pa talaga lumapit sa fans para hindi mahiya at ma intimidate sa family nya at ang sisimpli talaga nilang tingnan kahit yong mum.
as far as i can remember.. wala nmn talagang network wars dati. I still remember pag may bagong movie lhat ng channels pwede mong puntahan pra mag promote.. may star olympics pa nga. When they started the "exclusitvity" of te artist dun na nag karoon ng problem in my opinion kze lumiliit un mundo ng artist eh kaya pati movie industry apektado.. dati daming pinoy movies action, drama, comedy.. pro dahil nga "exclusive" hindi cla pwedeng mkipag collab unless galing sa mother network.. which is bullshit kze artist tong mga to they need each and everyone to hone their skills.
Sobrang misunderstood lang kasi talaga tong si Enrique pero mabait naman talaga yan. Friendly pa and malambing maski sa fans. He even helped Sunshine Cruz and naappreciate din nya yung gesture. Kaya dun sa mga nagtataka why Liza is happy with him, well malamang nararamdaman nyang mabuti yung tao.
I don't think she's lumalandi, she's only grateful that someone assisted her onstage, it's actually kinda hard when you're wearing heels and tight fitting gown.

People often judge him negative because of his aura, or first impression but those who had the opportunity to meet him in person only has nice things to say to him. I was one of them , not a fan at first but once you get the chance to meet him you will learn to appreciate who he really is. So accommodating, kind and friendly.
I didn't really like Enrique until Forevermore and having Liza as his LT, but the more I researched about him and saw the way he treats and loves his family,Liza, his fans and God, I have become one of his biggest supporter and fan.

I saw a video of Quen acknowledging and showing gesture of gratitude towards officers and marshalls who assisted them during their US tour. Kitang kita pagiging genuine niya dun! He is such a people person! Nakakatuwa! Reminds me of the story about his dad giving coffee to abs cbn security guards. He probably got it from his parents. Sa totoo lang hindi lang si Quen ang maswerte for having Liza. Liza is so blessed to have someone like him too.
Yeah I saw that too and I have not seen any artist do that. Si Quen, he went to them one by one pa to say thank you, he does not need to but he still did it. Well mannered talaga sya. Keep it up Quen. It's good to be remembered by few that loves you unconditionally rather than by millions who will turn their back on you when the things aren't good.
I like this kid. He seems genuinely nice and friendly. I think a lot of people misunderstand/have misunderstood him because of his seemingly "maangas" aura but I genuinely think he's just always on such a high energy. If you look beyond the misconceptions regarding this kid and actually observe him, you'll realise - like I did - that's he's very endearing, loving and charming. He and Liza make a great couple. He is really mabait and he treats people equally. He is a ball of positive vibes. When I first met him, he acknowledged all people even those from afar. Napaka genuine na bata. And a single mistake does not define who he is.
The reason that's way I love him nun nagtour sila sa Toronto 3yrs ago his the only one hugging me kissing me and sa iba pang fans ang sarap nun sa pakiramdam as in kiss na mafeel mo talaga sa cheek mo na parang sinabi nya thank you sa support.
I was a personal witness of how kind and sweet he is to his fans. He takes an extra mile to let the fans feel special. After that time that I saw that incident, I became an instant fan of LIzQuen. If only you will take time to know the real him, you will see a lovable Quen. If you're a mom, you'll wish you have a son like him and if you're single, you'll wish you'll have an Enrique Gil as a BF.
I saw a video also from the event that he introduced Liza to Ms Coney Reyes before they took their seats. Very respectful lang talaga sya. His body language in that video says it all.

Love this boy! Here's my unforgettable encounter with Quen. Paborito kasi si Quen ng pamangkin ko. tamang tama palabas sila ng block screening nila nun Just The Way You Are sa Galleria. Nirarush na siya nun mga marshall nila pero nun nagsabi yun pamangkin ko kung pwede magpapicture nagpasaway talaga si Enrique, sinenyasan niya agad yun guards ng "brod, sandali lang". Sabay siya pa yun lumapit sa pamangkin ko at siya pa ang humawak ng phone ng niece ko para magselfie kasi nataranta na kami (ang guwapo naman kasi talaga hahaha). Pagkatapos magpapicture nagagalit na talaga yun mga marshall at alipores kasi may next block screening pa silang pupuntahan. Bumeso na lang sa amin ang enrique sabay sabi ng buong kasinceran at eye-to-eye sa pamangkin ko ng "salamat po ha?". Naging favorite ko na din siya mula noon. Sobrang bait!
Reading comments and stories about personal encounter with Quen make me like him more. Before Forevermore, I didn't like Enrique, but when I got hooked with their serye nagustuhan ko na sya. Lahat past movies nya pinanood ko at lahat movies nila ni Liza shown here in Canada pinanood ko with my 3 kids. Pero after ko mabasa comment na ito, di ko lang sya, love ko na sya. Certified fan na ako!
Malambing at gentleman naman talaga sya. Nanega nga lang sa incident pero move on na. Love you Quen.

ReplyDeleteSuper love the comments here kasi totoo ngang Enrique is really a nice guy, misunderstood lang by how he projects himself to cameras and bc of the recent issue. Pero pag nakausap mo siya off cam parang di siya artista. Siya pa talaga makikupagusap at mararamdaman mong sincere siya!

ReplyDeleteDi ko rin bet si Enrique dati kasi mukhang myabang pero nung nging fan ako ng forevermore at LT nila, npnuod ko videos nya dati etc tska dun ko sya mas lalong nkilala sobrang bait at family oriented.. At nkakaiyak ang story nya same year namatay dad at lola nya

ReplyDeleteWally will always have a soft spot for Enrique. Idol sya nung anak nyang may cancer, and he surprised her before sa hospital. You see, they never really worked together pero pinagbigyan nya. And hindi na publicize yun. Mabait lang talaga.
DeleteYeah! Di ba crush sya ni Ryzza Mae, kinausap nya pa thru phone to make the child happy. Ang cute lang. There's even a pic of her na may Forevermore DVD sa table nila. And napanuod ko yung video greeting na hiningi ni Pauleen Luna for Ryzza :)

I jst knew him as someone who has that 'pretty face' sa showbiz, but the more i know him, the deeper he's digging into my heart. Until i watched FM, i was really hooked by him and liza until i realized that this boy is not just all a pretty face but a man who's worth all the love and respect.. Love you Quen & Liza!!!
ReplyDeleteLiza is one lucky girl as much as he is also lucky having her in his life. Super maalaga yang si Enrique, maski confetti lang na dumapo sa ulo ni Liza tatanggalin nya agad. Ayaw nyang nahihirapan si Liza, alagang alaga.

ReplyDeleteI like him na. Gusto ko sya lumabas sa movie bilang maangas na guy na eventually mate-tame ni Liz. Teka, ito ba ang plot ng Forevermore? Di ko kasi napanuod yun. Nagsimula na lang ako manuod uli local shows nang lumabas ang AlDub. But I honestly think that plot will suit them both. Pwede rin namang baliktad. Liz and Enrique are two beautiful people. Sarap panuorin kasi ang gwapo at ganda.

DeleteHe is really mabait and he treats people equally. He is a ball of positive vibes. When I first met him, he acknowledged all people even those from afar. Napaka genuine na bata. And a single mistake does not define who he is.

DeleteThe reason that's way I love him nun nagtour sila sa Toronto 3yrs ago his the only one hugging me kissing me and sa iba pang fans ang sarap nun sa pakiramdam as in kiss na mafeel mo talaga sa cheek mo na parang sinabi nya thank you sa support.
ReplyDeleteI was a personal witness of how kind and sweet he is to his fans. He takes an extra mile to let the fans feel special. After that time that I saw that incident, I became an instant fan of LIzQuen. If only you will take time to know the real him, you will see a lovable Quen. If you're a mom, you'll wish you have a son like him and if you're single, you'll wish you'll have an Enrique Gil as a BF.

DeleteI saw a video also from the event that he introduced Liza to Ms Coney Reyes before they took their seats. Very respectful lang talaga sya. His body language in that video says it all.

ReplyDeleteLove this boy! Here's my unforgettable encounter with Quen. Paborito kasi si Quen ng pamangkin ko. tamang tama palabas sila ng block screening nila nun Just The Way You Are sa Galleria. Nirarush na siya nun mga marshall nila pero nun nagsabi yun pamangkin ko kung pwede magpapicture nagpasaway talaga si Enrique, sinenyasan niya agad yun guards ng "brod, sandali lang". Sabay siya pa yun lumapit sa pamangkin ko at siya pa ang humawak ng phone ng niece ko para magselfie kasi nataranta na kami (ang guwapo naman kasi talaga hahaha). Pagkatapos magpapicture nagagalit na talaga yun mga marshall at alipores kasi may next block screening pa silang pupuntahan. Bumeso na lang sa amin ang enrique sabay sabi ng buong kasinceran at eye-to-eye sa pamangkin ko ng "salamat po ha?". Naging favorite ko na din siya mula noon. Sobrang bait!
ReplyDeleteReading comments and stories about personal encounter with Quen make me like him more. Before Forevermore, I didn't like Enrique, but when I got hooked with their serye nagustuhan ko na sya. Lahat past movies nya pinanood ko at lahat movies nila ni Liza shown here in Canada pinanood ko with my 3 kids. Pero after ko mabasa comment na ito, di ko lang sya, love ko na sya. Certified fan na ako!
