It's sad that a film that has been acknowledged and garnered praises internationally has been disqualified for Best Picture in its home country. Sayang, there's no other entry in MMFF deserving for Best Picture but HTF. Speaks so much about the Philippine Cinema industry.

Hindi yung mga 3 weeks shooting lang at 1 week editing, tapos kinabukasan palabas na.

That's what you call karma. It was the dream movie of Dingdong Dantes. He conceptualized the project together with Eri Matti and Dondon and would even co produce with them. For some strange reason, they replaced Dingdong with John Lloyd. (I have nothing against John Lloyd).

Hindi lang si John Lloyd ang magaling. Coco martin, Jericho Rosales, piolo pascual and Dingdong Dantes can pull the character off. Swerte lang so JLC at sa kanya napunta ang project.
Oh eh di alam na this? MMFF is not a prestigious festival anyway. Sellout actors and actresses in mainstream themed movies. Gusto lang naman nila 'magpasaya' ng mga tao sort of bullcrap excuse of films. Oh sige na, nation, react na.
