I suggest the govt creates a separate body or an NGO takes over..unang una hindi naman na sya "MM" dahil nationwide na..second, the jurors are lay people, walang alam sa technicalities sa paggawa ng pelikula..it should compose mostly of film critics..third, kabisote and deramas type of films should be shown outside of the festival (kikita naman din) or mmff should just remove the "awards" because you cant have both with the current management
if u do away with the awards the kabisote and wennderamas kind of films will surely dominate the film festival. palitan na ang pangalan into BFF or Basura Film Festival. Minus the awars film producers won't have any motivation to produce quality movies anymore.
Sana ung next committee will be composed of legit directors and movie critics, tapos wag pasalihin ung friends nila para legit talaga or anyone na connected with them para iwas perahan at dayaan. Pak ganern.
