Choosing between Remaining Silent and Rocking the Boat

Beautiful Actress (BA) is caught in a quandary. The decision to react is quite tricky, as BA would be touching sensitive nerves that could affect the serenity of her private life. Literally, if BA makes a fuss, chances are, she will not have a quiet moment, even online.

When BA was starting to fall in love with Handsome Heartthrob (HH), she gave up her career and trusted her future to HH. At that time, HH admitted that BA was special to him, but no one really took his proclamation seriously because he was much older and was often seen dating other women. Although he seemed to have a playboy reputation, HH’s publicly acknowledged relationships lasted long in terms of showbiz standards. Thus, when BA was behaving like her whole world revolved around HH, it seemed that HH was about to settle down.

After being in hiatus for a time, BA and HH resurfaced and addressed issues that they had denied previously. By this time, people were no longer interested in their story, as their denials had become cumbersome. Nonetheless, BA is slowly reclaiming her career, whereas HH has yet to regain his standing in the business.

At certain points in their relationship, Someone Close (SC) to HH convinced BA to purchase jewelry from her. Knowing that SC is trusted by HH, BA agreed. While relations might become an issue, both parties knew that their transactions were on the business level, even though, BA might have felt a bit of pressure not to turn down SC.

The transactions went smoothly and without realizing it immediately, BA had invested much of her earnings in the jewelry. As there was a time that her career was nowhere, BA decided to sell the bought jewelry, which she then entrusted to Her Side (HS) of the family. Thus, HS brought the jewelry to an appraiser and got the shock of their lives. The jewelry pieces, which cost BA around seven figures, were fake. Thus, the hard-earned money of BA went down the drain.

Now, the dilemma is between remaining quiet or telling SC that she sold fancy jewelry at a very high price. Most probably, SC will deny that her merchandise is fake and might even claim that something happened at the side of BA and HS. If she pursues the matter and confronts SC, BA will never hear the end of it and might endanger her relationship with HH. Such is her predicament, but not what she is earning a bit, then she might just have to let go of the money she had lost with the fake jewelry.
