It's usually used for people with allergies just for precuation. Atleast that is practiced in other countries. I just don't know why there is a need for two armbands- white and red.

sometimes color coded bracelet is used to determine from which area of the hospital the patient came from. i know one that uses red bracelet to all patients coming from ER. ung white is the official bracelet once admitted na ung pt.
Bakit may red armband? Is he getting a blood transfusion?
