Judge Luisito Cortez of Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 84 found Ivler guilty of killing Renato Victor Ebarle Jr. during a traffic altercation in Santolan, Quezon City on November 18, 2009.
Ivler has been sentenced with reclusion perpetua or a minimum jail term of 30 years. He was also ordered to give the family of the road rage victim P9 million as indemnification.
Ebarle Jr., the son of former presidential chief of staff undersecretary Renato Ebarle Sr., died of three gunshot wounds after the altercation.
Ivler was arrested at the basement of his mother Marlene Aguilar's house on January 18, 2010. He and a National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) agent were injured as they exchanged fire during the operation.
Boy Evangelista of the Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption welcomed the conviction of Ivler.
''Natutuwa kami. Malaking tagumpay ito sa justice system natin. Halos six years ito. It took the family almost 6 years…It will be sending a very strong message,'' Evangelista said.
Ganun katagal bago nahatulan 6 years... grabe nman ang justice system dito sa bansa ntin.
ReplyDeleteTapos pwede pang i-apela.
DeleteMas ok na yan...ung maguindanao nga ilang taon na e..nagdudumilat na ang katotohan ilang tao ang namatay dun...ganun tlga pag may pera ung victim mas may chance gumulong ung kaso...
DeletePinag aaralan kasi mga ebidensya and testimony. Wag masyado mamaru ha. And pwede mag appeal kasi appeal is part of the justice system.
Deletemabilis pa nga yang 6 years na yan
DeleteAndun naman tayo sa pinag-aaralan yan. But it won't deny the fact kung gaano kabagal at bulok ang hustisya sa atin.
DeleteSpell Karma
It's totally better than not having justice at all. I wish the family of Mr. Ebarle Jr. can find peace now that this ordeal has come to an end.
ReplyDeletearuy natuluyan din :(
ReplyDeleteBaket malunkot ka??
Deletepraise god!!!! matagal man at least may HUSTISYA pa din!!!! i hope mabulok n yan s kulungan
ReplyDeletesayang hot guy pa nmn..tsk tsk..

DeleteWhat is in the comment of anon 7:22 that u find sick, anon 9:24? So, anong sick doon?
DeleteI dont Find a murderer HOT at all!
Delete7:53 agree. people who find him hot are superficial and yeah probably sick in the head!
ReplyDeletehe must never let the soap drop
Delete9:31 agree....hehehehe
DeleteHis real verdict will come from inside his jail cell
ReplyDeleteGalit ang mga kriminal sa kapwa kriminal
dapat lang makulong dahil obvious naman na nagkasala. yung case nya is just too obvious na wala na iba pang pwedeng version. on another note, for his own good din na makulong sya kasi hindi malayo maulit nya makapatay ng inosente based sa ugali nya. ako mismo nagagwapuhan sa kanya pero ganyan talaga. malay natin yan jail time pala would give him the breakthrough that he needs para umayos na buhay nya.
ReplyDelete-xoxo-
Tang#@1 tong lalakeng to.
ReplyDeleteMasamang damo
DeleteFinally Ebarle Jr. got the justice he needed. Broad daylight nangyari tapos naCIA daw si Marlene? Hahaha
ReplyDeleteNatatandaan ko tong kasong 'to..
He knows he's guilty
Our justice system is crazy and insane..
ReplyDeleteDeny pa more.
