The driver had a responsibility when he allowed this drunkard to get in his car. Duh. He knew that driver was drunk. He couldn't just kick out the passenger . But the last part was definitely crazy.
He could have called the police before he kicked him out. Talk about irresponsible drivier. He knew he was drunk but still he allowed him to get in his car. He had a better judgment since he was the one who's not intoxicated.
LOL at the arrogant and ignorant comments, 9:32 and 9:42. FYI, a lot of Uber customers are drunks who cannot drive because of their intoxication. Uber will take it against the driver if they deliberately refuse a call. The passenger of course should know where he's going otherwise there's no point in calling a driver. Good thing Uber has this passenger's information (name, billing address, credit card number, most likely linked to an SSN) and it's also a good thing that the driver has a camera in his vehicle.
He can kick someone out who is violent. It's his right. What if something worse happen to the driver? Would say he is irrespinsible? It not his obligations to babysit a drunktard. His only obligation is to bring the drunk person home. Prior to every action of that drunk person, that person should be blame and no one else. Drink responsibly. Don't, if you can't handle alcohol.
Seriously? He was being professional. He knows that he has to keep his cool even if his passenger is drunk. The drunk passenger was doing a right thing by taking a cab because he know he was drunk. He opted to take a cab rather than driving under the influence of alcohol. But what he did to the cab driver is assault. And that's very irresponsible of him.
And i say nakainom kasi may certain level of alcohol na bawal na.
Rather than blaming the Uber driver, siguro mas dapat e matuto ang lahat na maging responsableng manginginom. Sinubukan nman nung mamang driver mahatid yung pasahero kaso sa sobrang kalasingan hindi nya masabi kung san ang direction sa uuwian nya.
9:32 and 9:42 - HAHAHAHAHA. DI PA KAYO NAKAKAPAG-UBER NO? HUWAG KAYONG MAG-ALALA PARE-PAREHAS LANG TAYO. TRICYCLE, JEEP, AT BUS LANG KASI KAYA NATIN. HAHAHAHAHAHA!
9:32 and 9:42 poor people, Uber is not like a Taxi duh! Uber drivers cannot refuse a passenger assigned to them otherwise they will be sanctioned or removed from Uber. Well technically they can still refuse but they should call the head office pa to explain. Uber and Grabtaxi regular rider here
I find it sad that some here got mad at the Uber driver or said that it was the driver's fault. It is a right of an Uber driver to drop off the passenger if they are unruly or might be a threat to the driver's safety.
Plus the driver asked him in a nice way that he needed to drop him off since the passenger was too drunk to give him directions. Maybe He could've avoided picking this guy up but did he know that the passenger was drunk? Hell no. Of course not.
Thank God for the dash cam. Props to the Uber driver. And I agree with the comment above, typical answer from us na kung sino pa talaga ang kawawa, siya pa mali. SMH.
Ang galing naman mclaren ang uber car
