How the heck was this invasion of privacy? He was sleeping in full view of the public, aboard a common carrier. Fine, the attendant was probably professionally out of line. But had the person taking the photo been any other fan, it would have been fine, in my view.

DeleteWere they not taught during training not to do this? Even with famous personalities? You should always ask permission before taking a photo. Other countries have laws that can put you in jail for photos taken without the subject's permission.

ReplyDeleteNo, it's not the issue of Kung ok kay Alden or not, or pagpapalaki ng issue. They can't let it pass if these FAs really violated airline rules, otherwise, the airlines might be put in hot water.

ReplyDeleteHow the heck was this invasion of privacy? He was sleeping in full view of the public, aboard a common carrier. Fine, the attendant was probably professionally out of line. But had the person taking the photo been any other fan, it would have been fine, in my view.

But privacy-intruding, no.

What if you were the one taken a picture of without your permission by a total stranger at a time when you were totally defenseless?! Kahit wala naman silang balak or iniisip na masama, that doesn't mean what the FA did was right or excusable.

ReplyDeleteNevermind na-excite sila & all, but that's just invasion of privacy. Sila kaya kuhaan while tulog sila? Not that anyone is interested in doing that, but they should know better. And di naman siguro lingid sa kaalaman nila na that their company's reputation is at stake here (i.e. how they train their employees). Every little mistake, misdemeanor or lapse in service is magnified because of social media; sana they become more careful kasi nadadamay ang mga kasama nila sa kumpanya. And Alden doesn't deserve this; he may not care & make the big deal out of this thing, but it doesn't mean insensitive people can do this to him.

ReplyDeletesa service industry SOP talaga at common sense na rin na keep mo privacy ng iyong customers. artista man o hindi, pantay pantay lang dapat ang treatment. imagine kung yung room attendant mo sa hotel kinukuhanan ng picture mga gamit mo habang wala ka. Or worse kinukuhanan ka ng hidden cam picture na natutulog. Ang spooky lang diba. These flight attendants should know better. Ang cheap talaga ng training dyan sa cebu pac. basic na basic di alam ng staff.

Tapos nagwapuhan/nagandahan sayo yung waiter/waitress. Tapos habang lumalamon ka dyan, ka pinapa-parazzi ka pala ng di mo alam. Tas mamaya ipopost sa social media pagttripan ka bibilugan pa face mo ng red pen. Nakakainis diba. Close ba tayo?! - May rules kase sa service. dapat alam yun ng staff ng cebu pac.

ReplyDeleteI'm against sa ginawa ng mga attendants kasi invasion of privacy. Maski ako man picturan ng tulog kahit gwapo ako nagagalit ako pwera nalang kung nagpapacute ako at kunwaring tulog lang pero kung hindi naman nagreklamo si Alden at pagsabihan sila. Wag nalang din sana tanggalin at maging example nalang din sa ibang FA to have a class. Anyway, fan mode lang din sila that time. Maski kung ako d ko din alam gagawin ko ata kung makita ko si Alden ganyan kagwapo LOL.

Don't justify the unethical behavior of these flight attendants. Sa Pilipinas lang ata talaga may ganito eh.
Sadly, this is a violation of work ethics. Hindi ka naging professional sa trabaho mo. Swerte nyo ni ateng kung ang kampo ni Alden ay hindi magreklamo. Pero nonetheless, expect nyo na either ma-memo or ma-suspend kayo for your actions or worse, ma terminate kayo. Tama na't mabusog nalang kayo na nasa flight nyo si Alden dahil hindi lahat may opportunity na ganon. Respect him as a person and please know your limits. Be a good example sa mga future flight attendants. Just my two cents.
