He really is a good person. My yaya went to the album launch last saturday she waited for 7 hours and according to her super sulit when she saw alden super bait daw pag akyat niya for the photo op sabi sa kanya ni alden hi with matching waving of his hands. Then his smile daw was so sincere. Then while taking picture alden was trying to reach all the people daw na kasama sa photo op (by 10's).
True. He is worth emulating. I feel that he is also very fortunate that the boy gets proper guidance from his parents. I remember in one interview, his Dad said, he always reminds and ask him kung nakasayad pa rin ang paa niya sa lupa. Kudos to his Dad for keeping him in toe and humble.
Agree, 3:13. Kaya as parents, I think this is an example worth emulating, too. Lalu na dun sa mga parents ng mga kabataang artista ngayon. Guiding your kids well doesn't mean acting like the typical stage moms/dads. Alam mo dapat kung saan ka lulugar. Don't hover too much but never stop reminding your child to remain humble and gracious, be respectful, conduct oneself gracefully and with composure especially in public and keep learning. I like how Alden's dad maintains a respectful distance but always there for him. Same for Maine's parents. Such class acts.

Heard from volunteers before na ganyan talaga sya. Tumutulong sya sa pag-ayos ng mga props, etc for regional shows tapos sasabihan pa nya yung in-charge sa production na pagpahingahin naman daw yung mga volunteers kasi halatang pagod na rin sila tapos kinakausap pa nya yung mga volunteers kung okay lang ba sila or kung nakakain na. During that time hindi pa sya sikat nun huh.

Kilala na namin ng mga kasamahan kong volunteer kung sino si Alden Richards noon, na-shock lang kami dahil sobrang bait nya. Akala namin pa special treatment lahat ng artista, pero sya tumutulong talaga. Ang nakakakilabot pa, ang gwapo-gwapo pa nya at di mo aakalaing may concern siya sa mga volunteers na gaya namin. hahaha

See, ganyan ang role model. Say what you will about parents dapat ang maging gabay ng magulang, etc, malaki parin ang influence ng behavior ng idols sa mga fans nila. Pag nega ang idol mo, expect the fandom to be the same. If your idol frequently makes excuses for his bad behavior, expect the fandom to do the same--not just concerning their idol kundi pati na rin sa actual lives nila. Kaya it's important na we have good role models for the youth.
Im not fond of following celebs ever since. Nababaduyan pa ko sa mga kakilala ko o kasama ko minsan nah pag may nakikitang artista sa greenbelt nagpapapicture pero for the first time, nahook talaga ako sa aldub, at for the first time, napaluha ako sa pagka-touch sa story ng fan nah toh. I was moved sa sobrang pagka-humble nya. Such a breath of fresh air sa mga usual nah kwento at storya ng mga artistang plastik at masama ang ugali.
It's good that Maine is paired up with Alden. She can learn so much from him on how he handles his fans and the ins and outs of showbiz. I know Alden will guide and protect Maine since she's a newbie.
Kahit gusto kong yakapin at halikan si Alden nung photo op sa album launch niya, kinalma ko sarili ko. Humanga ako sa kagwapuhan niya pero mas humanga ako sa kabaitan niya sa family niya, sa fans at sa mga tao sa paligid niya. Genuine ang kabaitan at pagiging humble ni Alden :)

I'm teary eyed while reading this. I know him because of his movie The Road. I'm not even aware of his past seryes like Alakdana, One True Love and Tweenhearts. Don't judge since I'm not fond of watching TV shows. And I'm not into artists either. But Alden changed me. I even attended his fans day here in Cebu, bought a magazine because he's on the cover and ordered a copy of his album. I'm even willing to fly to Manila just to witness another history that will unfold (Tamang Panahon event) but didn't get any approval from my father. This is the first time I got hooked to a celebrity and first time to do those things. I just don't get it why others bash him. He patiently waited for this day to come. I'm so proud of you, Richard. Ako, 2nd Saturday ko na napanood ung EB, nung napanood ko ung inacccept niya ung gold para sa album niya eh andun ung di niya napigilang maiyak, dun ko napansin sa character niya na talagang mabait siyang bata.
wow nagbubuhat talaga sya ng mesa..last time nakit namin sya sa EB when me and my family happened to be part of the audience. ung ibang host hinihintay nalang nila na lapitan sila ng staff para bigyan ng microphone. pero si alden, pati narin si Sam di na nila hinihintay na lapitan sila ng crew. sinusundo nila ung microphone nila at sila talaga ung lumapit sa crew para kunin un.maliit na bagay pero ang ganda tingnan. knowing na sikat sila.hay ang babait ninyo, pagpalain pa kayo ng maraming marami.
I witnessed that and yup sobrang bait ni Alden. Bukod sa pagiging gwapo nia (yiee!) un ang mas nakakastarstruck sa kanya, un kabaitan at pagiging down to earth niya and his genuine love for his family and his fans. May iba din namang lalaking andun (Sam, Jimmy at Kimpee) pero its seems to be a reflex reaction from him. Minsan pinunasan pa niya yung mesa, pagkababa ni Pia. Gentleman na, listo pa. Katawa pa nga na one time, during one ending ng kalyeserye, nung na-kidnap si Yaya at humabol sila ni Lola Nidora, napaluhod din si Lolo out of desperation. ReplyDeleteMagkatuluyan man sila o hindi, I'm happy for them just the same kasi at one point in their loves, they brought out the best in each other and have traveled the path of fame together. I'm sure if they don't end as lovers, they will surely be great friends for life. As I'm sure they will be, with their Dabarkads family. Lalu na si Maine. Nakikita ko yung closeness niya ngayon sa JOWAPAO. Its very obvious they have all grown fond of each other and its a really nice working relationship.

My yaya went to the album launch last saturday she waited for 7 hours and according to her super sulit when she saw alden super bait daw pag akyat niya for the photo op sabi sa kanya ni alden hi with matching waving of his hands. Then his smile daw was so sincere. Then while taking picture alden was trying to reach all the people daw na kasama sa photo op (by 10's).

ReplyDeleteTrue. He is worth emulating. I feel that he is also very fortunate that the boy gets proper guidance from his parents. I remember in one interview, his Dad said, he always reminds and ask him kung nakasayad pa rin ang paa niya sa lupa. Kudos to his Dad for keeping him in toe and humble.

DeleteAgree, 3:13. Kaya as parents, I think this is an example worth emulating, too. Lalu na dun sa mga parents ng mga kabataang artista ngayon. Guiding your kids well doesn't mean acting like the typical stage moms/dads. Alam mo dapat kung saan ka lulugar. Don't hover too much but never stop reminding your child to remain humble and gracious, be respectful, conduct oneself gracefully and with composure especially in public and keep learning. I like how Alden's dad maintains a respectful distance but always there for him. Same for Maine's parents. Such class acts.

Nagkataon pa na parehong malakas ang charisma nila both ni Maine. With me, though, una ko siyang napansin dun sa Indio. Magaan kaagad ang loob ko sa kanya and I wished he would go a long way. Fast forward, eto na nga. I'm so very glad and happy sa nangyayari sa kanya ngayon because he truly deserves it. And I'm sure, like most of those who admire him, it feels so great to be a fan. ReplyDeleteHeard from volunteers before na ganyan talaga sya. Tumutulong sya sa pag-ayos ng mga props, etc for regional shows tapos sasabihan pa nya yung in-charge sa production na pagpahingahin naman daw yung mga volunteers kasi halatang pagod na rin sila tapos kinakausap pa nya yung mga volunteers kung okay lang ba sila or kung nakakain na. During that time hindi pa sya sikat nun huh.

ReplyDeleteSee, ganyan ang role model. Say what you will about parents dapat ang maging gabay ng magulang, etc, malaki parin ang influence ng behavior ng idols sa mga fans nila. Pag nega ang idol mo, expect the fandom to be the same. If your idol frequently makes excuses for his bad behavior, expect the fandom to do the same--not just concerning their idol kundi pati na rin sa actual lives nila. Kaya it's important na we have good role models for the youth.

Im not fond of following celebs ever since. Nababaduyan pa ko sa mga kakilala ko o kasama ko minsan nah pag may nakikitang artista sa greenbelt nagpapapicture pero for the first time, nahook talaga ako sa aldub, at for the first time, napaluha ako sa pagka-touch sa story ng fan nah toh. I was moved sa sobrang pagka-humble nya. Such a breath of fresh air sa mga usual nah kwento at storya ng mga artistang plastik at masama ang ugali.

I'm teary eyed while reading this. I know him because of his movie The Road. I'm not even aware of his past seryes like Alakdana, One True Love and Tweenhearts. Don't judge since I'm not fond of watching TV shows. And I'm not into artists either. But Alden changed me. I even attended his fans day here in Cebu, bought a magazine because he's on the cover and ordered a copy of his album. I'm even willing to fly to Manila just to witness another history that will unfold (Tamang Panahon event) but didn't get any approval from my father. This is the first time I got hooked to a celebrity and first time to do those things. I just don't get it why others bash him. He patiently waited for this day to come. I'm so proud of you, Richard. Hope you will not change and stay grounded. Good luck and God Bless on your future endeavors. And may your wish (lovelife) be granted.

ReplyDeletewow nagbubuhat talaga sya ng mesa..last time nakit namin sya sa EB when me and my family happened to be part of the audience. ung ibang host hinihintay nalang nila na lapitan sila ng staff para bigyan ng microphone. pero si alden, pati narin si Sam di na nila hinihintay na lapitan sila ng crew. sinusundo nila ung microphone nila at sila talaga ung lumapit sa crew para kunin un.maliit na bagay pero ang ganda tingnan. knowing na sikat sila.hay ang babait ninyo, pagpalain pa kayo ng maraming marami.

Bukod sa pagiging gwapo nia (yiee!) un ang mas nakakastarstruck sa kanya, un kabaitan at pagiging down to earth niya and his genuine love for his family and his fans. Kaya sobrang blessed tong batang to. Nung nag-thank you cia b4 our photo was taken, very sincere with a big smile! Nawala pagod ko sa pagpila from 10am sa SM North sa smile nia na un. Kaya on that moment I promised myself I will support him and all his projects kasi he deserves it.

ReplyDeleteMay isa pa akong napansin. Every time na sasayaw si Pia sa ibabaw ng mesa (na cheap tingnan, sorry), si Alden lagi ang umaalay sa kanya to climb on and off the table. May iba din namang lalaking andun (Sam, Jimmy at Kimpee) pero its seems to be a reflex reaction from him. Minsan pinunasan pa niya yung mesa, pagkababa ni Pia. Gentleman na, listo pa. Katawa pa nga na one time, during one ending ng kalyeserye, nung na-kidnap si Yaya at humabol sila ni Lola Nidora, napaluhod din si Lolo out of desperation. Pinunasan pa ni Alden yung tuhod ni Wally with his bare hand. Again, another knee jerk reaction.
