    4. The film costs 240million to make!

    5. Tulog na star cinema

    6. Mas may karapatan to mag box office kaysa sa star cinema cheap movies. Pwe.

    7. Wag mong panoorin di ka kawalan panoorin mo yung kabit movie bagay sa yo

    9. The movie cost is 70M php. Me marketing costs pa. So 240M is really a possible break even point.

    10. Cheap sa yo ang ganitong pelikula? If all viewers are like you, mga basurang pelikula at walang katapusang kabit movies ang lalabas.

      Delete

    12. Unlike star cinema movies, lakas makapadding

    1. So you mean okay lang na may pirata?? panu makakagawa ng madami na makabuluhan pelikula katulad ng heneral luna if may mga katulad nyo..

    2. WHAT A LAME AND PATHETIC EXCUSE. Stop justifying what is wrong. Piracy is still a crime, no excuses.

    3. 1.07 What gives? The film made money, more than their budget, many pinoys who don't have access to see the movie in their province may have to buy the pirated dvd to see it. If you're a serious filmmaker, you'd want as wide audience as possible to see your movie. The issue here is about GREED vs ART.

    4. 12:45 Grabe yung mentality.

    5. @2:19am sorry di kasi kasing big time ng Star Cinema at other producers ang nagproduce ng heneral luna kaya di pa nila kaya gawin mas wide ang audience kung irerelease nila yan sa mga bansang madami pinoy tyak mas tiba-tiba ang producer.

      Delete
    6. That's not an excuse. The real issue here: discipline and responsibility. If people do not have acces find legal means, perhaps support from local organization. End does not justify the means. Anon 2:19

    7. 3.02 Greed is greed.

      Delete
    8. Anon 2:19, regardless of their excuse, piracy is a crime. Also, read the statement again. Their true break even point is 240M. With pirated copies circulating now, how is that helping the producers?

      Delete
    9. The movie's financier hasn't recovered his investment. May 1/3 share each din kasi ang cinemas and ang gobyerno.

      Delete

There is no excuse in watching pirated movies. Pay! It cost those who make it. Why is it unreasonable to make a profit out of something you invested in? The greedy ones are those who think it is ok to get something for free that they have not worked for. Kawatan ang tawag dun. Excuses, excuses. If you can't afford it, don't watch!

    12. Wow! Sana mangyari sa iyo yan, yung tipong meron kang pina uso, pinagkakitaan mo, tapos maraming gumaya, kaya yung kita mo lumiit.

    1. Excuse me. Hype lang daw. Nahiya naman si Jerrold Tarog.

Walang sinabi ang gawa ni Abaya noh.

  14. Buti kumita ang movie kasi usually mga romcon no brainer basurang movies from star cinema lagi kumikita

    5. Yung props hindi kasama sababayaran? Yungga kawal hindi kasama sa babayaran? Yung locatiom hindi kasama sa babayaran?

      Delete
    6. Anon 1:31AM. The P240m is not only equivalent to the production cost, it is also considering the theater's share and taxes too. The producers spent P80m for this film. To break even a movie has to earn 3x of that. Actually, P80m is cheap for a period movie.

    7. thank you 1:45 and 3:59 sa maayos na answers. yung ibang commenters dito akala mo laging nakikipag-away or tarayan kung sumagot.
