    3. WTF?!?
If it's there, then you know it's also in the kitchen. Crawling on the pots & pans and utensils used to cook the food. Crawling on the cook space, containers. You get the picture. #yuck #healthhazard #dti #fda #dot

  15. I've been to Sonya's garden. I hope that the diner aside from posting this in the social media also called the attention of the restaurant manager so they act on the problem. This incident though will not prevent me from going back there. Common yan sa mga eating places. Siguro Sonya's garden being an organic mini farm or garden hindi gumagamit ng mga insecticides. Having said that they should find a way to control pests in the area in the most natural way. I don't know the owners. I have to say this outright at baka masuspetsahan pa dito sa FP but I highly recommend to take a stroll in the garden, talk to the caretakers or gardeners about the plants at marami kang matutunan. Assuming na kaya ka pumunta dun di dahil para mag usyoso lang at masabi na nakapunta ka dahil you have the interest for such places. They do have rare plants there, mga heritage plants. If you are nice to the caretakers they will let you take a peep if the cottages are not occupied. The Philippines should have more of such.

    1. Anon 1:23 baka naman may sign na "No picking of flowers" eh pinitas mo pa rin.

      Delete
    2. Basal mamitas ng bulaklak. You don't go to a private garden and start picking flowers. Tama lang pagalitan ka.

  20. Mas concerned ako sa resibo. Sa mahal ng lodging, services, and resto nila wala silang POS machine? Mano mano ang auditing at bookkeeping? Nagbabayad kaya ng tamang tax to?

  21. i guess related ng sonya si @12:46 or maybe manager hmmm flight of ideas nga charrrot and maybe gusto lang nyang mag explain bakit inipis ang sonya at pinangalandakan na rin nya that she's been to france and italy...well likewise hahaha gaya gaya lang charrot

Yun dining halls nila 2 ata if I recall correctly, food court levels. Yun pasta is eat all you can tapos pwede mag special order ng roast chicken. Hindi sya ganun kasarap but fresh yun gulay and organic nga. Once is enough to go to this place. There are other new establishments in Tagaytay that have better food, cleaner accommodations and at a more reasonable price. Eto ang totoo.

  30. Sonya's Garden was a BIG disappointment when we stayed there in 2012. we paid P3500 per person for an overnight stay with dinner and breakfast. we stayed in this room na parang ang theme is back to basic.... that is worth P7k!! walang aircon, meron isang electric fan na maingay pa. yun bintana di nasasara, meron lang net curtain so nakikita kung ano ginagawa nyo sa loob ng room. Then in the middle of the night, my husband who is british woke me up and he was freaking out, he went to use the toilet and the toilet bowl was covered as in covered with black ants nanangangagat!!! imagine mo kung di mo binuksan ang ilaw at umupo ka dun, buti na lang iihi lang sya.he was really pissed off kasi nga naman, nagbayad kami ng P7k, pagkain mo damo, walang aircon (that was in April!!) then muntik ka pa kagatin ng langgam. We complained sa office the next morning then we were introduced to Ms Sonya, who we found was rude. She told us that is how her B&B is and if we don't like it we are better off staying in a hotel.we mentioned about the ants, and she just told us that they don't use any pesticides/insecticides and only use organic/natural products. the point is,even if you dont use insecticides/pesticides, there are ways of getting rid of those ants.we left 1st thing inn the orning and transferred to Taal Vista Lodge which only cost us P3k for a room. SONYA's garden? NEVER AGAIN!
