Well it do happen. What bothers me is that people are questioning her decision. I don't think Sarah made a mistake by choosing Kyle. The kid is total package. Iba lang talaga panlasa ng mga Pilipino. I like that kid. He is natural and charming. Sa apat na nakapasok. After the show, waley na yan. I really think only Sassa has the ummppp amongst them.
Agree with this. Raw and natural is what Sarah was looking for. Kyle brought it. I noticed that in the semis Sarah told Francis to be natural and to let go of his calculated gestures. Let's face it. When none of those you coached made it, you'll feel very bad. Sarah had been a good mentor, else she won't be having the honor of being the coach of Lyca and Jason. It's just that the voters prefer the semi-finalist kids of Bamboo and Lea, and I am with the results this time. Zephanie's voice is very sweet and soothing, but not as powerful as the other three girls. Kyle's voice is unique and not usually the kind Pinoys are used to. He can be however the male counterpart of Hayley Westenra with more training.

This is an excellent, super exciting final round ng TheVoiceKids... fair play and the outcome is based on the actual performance and not on the fanbase of the coach.
Ummmm, deserving din naman ang mga nasa top 4. Eto lang ang take ko and I hope I will not be bashed for this. None of the top 4 can match the talent of Darren. Bet ko si Esang at si Ehla. But the truth is as gifted as she is, Esang is not confident in belting out upbeat songs, may problema pa sa stage presence nya sa group performance. Look at her wandering eye sa group performance with Lea. Mas may K se Esang sa mga broadway type of songs. True, she is a Lea Salonga in the bud but..... Si Ehla naman is very promising, she will fit well in the entertainment industry, may mass appeal and she has shown confidence in her performances, very driven din, siguro dahil na rin sa status ng kabuhayan nila, at yan ay walang halong awa from me. I am just stating a fact dahil may talent talaga ang bata. Panoorin nyo uli ang performances nya last weekend. Wagi ang eye contact nya at movement. I think the 40%+ ratings show that more and more people are watching, including people who probably tune in (and vote) no matter who the coaches were. It's a good sign! In other countries, the show lasts longer when people who aren't die-hard fans of the coaches are watching. The franchise is still relatively young in the Philippines, so this only our first experience with knocked-out coaches. It's not as big of a deal in other countries' franchises anymore. It will probably happen a few more times if the show continues for more seasons.

I personally voted for Myk from KampKawayan, as per my taste. btw, I'm a fan of Sarah. LYKA, WON, not really because of the popsters but BECAUSE OF PINOYS' LOVE FOR SOBSTORIES. Darren, from team Sarah, was clearly the best one in the finals, and yet he did not win. Jason from last season was good, too, as everyone in the final round was. Any one of the four would have deserved to win. Ngayon, heto na po ang proof na hindi naman talaga popsters ang deciding vote sa the voice. Malaki fanbase ni Sarah, sure, but this shows na hindi totoong nananalo lang ang Team Sarah dahil sa votes ng popsters kasi walang pumasok sa top 4 from team Sarah, even with the popsters' vote.
Sayang nga lang na the proof was at the expense of Zephanie, who I personally think, deserves a spot in the final 4.

I'm a Popster and voted for Zeph. I think SG choosing Kyle backfired on her. Not that the kids has no talent at all but there were better singers. SG might have forgotten that it's TheVoice and she doesn't have the luxury of time to develop someone else voice in a rather short time. I think she may have learned her lesson on this one. Regardless, I am still proud she took that risk and continue to respect her as a coach. I hope kids under her team will still have careers after the show.

ReplyDeleteWell it do happen. What bothers me is that people are questioning her decision. I don't think Sarah made a mistake by choosing Kyle. The kid is total package. Iba lang talaga panlasa ng mga Pilipino. I like that kid. He is natural and charming. Sa apat na nakapasok. After the show, waley na yan. I really think only Sassa has the ummppp amongst them.

DeleteLet's face it. When none of those you coached made it, you'll feel very bad. Sarah had been a good mentor, else she won't be having the honor of being the coach of Lyca and Jason. It's just that the voters prefer the semi-finalist kids of Bamboo and Lea, and I am with the results this time. Zephanie's voice is very sweet and soothing, but not as powerful as the other three girls. Kyle's voice is unique and not usually the kind Pinoys are used to. He can be however the male counterpart of Hayley Westenra with more training.

As per Bamboo, the TRUTH is on the stage. This is an excellent, super exciting final round ng TheVoiceKids... fair play and the outcome is based on the actual performance and not on the fanbase of the coach.

DeleteUmmmm, deserving din naman ang mga nasa top 4. Eto lang ang take ko and I hope I will not be bashed for this. None of the top 4 can match the talent of Darren. Bet ko si Esang at si Ehla. But the truth is as gifted as she is, Esang is not confident in belting out upbeat songs, may problema pa sa stage presence nya sa group performance. Look at her wandering eye sa group performance with Lea. Mas may K se Esang sa mga broadway type of songs. True, she is a Lea Salonga in the bud but..... Si Ehla naman is very promising, she will fit well in the entertainment industry, may mass appeal and she has shown confidence in her performances, very driven din, siguro dahil na rin sa status ng kabuhayan nila, at yan ay walang halong awa from me. I am just stating a fact dahil may talent talaga ang bata. Panoorin nyo uli ang performances nya last weekend. Wagi ang eye contact nya at movement. Good coaching, Bamboo and just so you know, I am a Sarah G. fan. Kahit nangyari and di dapat mangyari shifting support ako to Ehla. Sana boycott ako pero on the other hand I want to be able make a contribution in the fulfillment of a young child's dream. Ayan, ako ay gracious loser. ReplyDeleteI think the 40%+ ratings show that more and more people are watching, including people who probably tune in (and vote) no matter who the coaches were. It's a good sign! In other countries, the show lasts longer when people who aren't die-hard fans of the coaches are watching. The franchise is still relatively young in the Philippines, so this only our first experience with knocked-out coaches. It's not as big of a deal in other countries' franchises anymore. It will probably happen a few more times if the show continues for more seasons.

Bakit ang daming galit kay Sarah? Mitoy from TEAM LEA WON IN THE FIRST THE VOICE (capslock for emphasis only), when Klarisse was arguably the better, more versatile singer. I personally voted for Myk from KampKawayan, as per my taste. btw, I'm a fan of Sarah.
ReplyDeleteLYKA, WON, not really because of the popsters but BECAUSE OF PINOYS' LOVE FOR SOBSTORIES. Darren, from team Sarah, was clearly the best one in the finals, and yet he did not win. Jason from last season was good, too, as everyone in the final round was. Any one of the four would have deserved to win.
Ngayon, heto na po ang proof na hindi naman talaga popsters ang deciding vote sa the voice. Malaki fanbase ni Sarah, sure, but this shows na hindi totoong nananalo lang ang Team Sarah dahil sa votes ng popsters kasi walang pumasok sa top 4 from team Sarah, even with the popsters' vote.
Sayang nga lang na the proof was at the expense of Zephanie, who I personally think, deserves a spot in the final 4.

SG might have forgotten that it's TheVoice and she doesn't have the luxury of time to develop someone else voice in a rather short time. I think she may have learned her lesson on this one. Regardless, I am still proud she took that risk and continue to respect her as a coach. I hope kids under her team will still have careers after the show.

Parang nakakaawa na nakakainis, given her history of low EQ, oo na in love na siya and ipaglalaban niya si Matteo pero sana ibinigay na lang niya virginity niya kung gusto niya magexpress ng grand gesture of affection, kesa ganito na isinacrifice niya integrity niya, nasacrifice pa ibang more deserving contestants sa pagpapabebe niya. Ayan tuloy...
